Curious to see how many schools will get cut throat about scholarships now. If you are a school with multiple businesses indiscriminately providing cash to players just because they're on the team, then those spots have value..
The answer is no. Fooley has declared that no matter how bad a kid is or how little he tries, we wont cut one.

Supposedly that is a great recruiting advantage for us. It helps us land the kids who dont really care about championships but feel there is a good chance they cannot compete at division 1 level. Poster child: Stiner. the kind of kid who when he enters the transfer portal absolutely no one in division one or two wants him.

we weren't winning any bidding wars before.

Alabama was paying $200,000 for a blue chip offensive lineman in the 90s. I hate to tell you but theyd laugh at your church scenario. maybe for a third teamer.

there are plenty Gators with money who will want to advertise in a very effective way.
You have no faith in our athletic department.
You have no faith in our coaches.
You've ruled out booster participation.

And yet, you think an independent G'ville business is going to compete with the organized machines at 'bama Georgia, Miami or even FSU.

Of course not.

Youve convinced me that ncaa the that boosters can buy NIL, even things like signed items.

what is the athletic department going to do? tell you you can't be a booster anymore and tell you not send money? not give you season tic no one wants and which everyone knows is cheaper on ticketmaster or the street.

We have a waaaay bigger fanbase than most others, certainly than clowntown, and most of the asshats wearing Bammer bullshyt cant afford their next trailer payment.

Bammer does not have some incredible fanbace. what they do is sink every penny of 150 mil/ yr more or less in football money back in the football. They're not the Death Star.

which will continue to push us further from competing. Other schools will have no problem, especially after a few years of the culture change that's coming.

13 pages on this topic. Why?

This little distraction is the equivalent of picking the fly crap out of the pepper.

Our football program sucks. Picking the fly crap out doesn't change the magnitude of the suckage.

And....Alabama for the win....again!

BMF you beat me to it again. Don't think little nikki is going to just settle for 2nd place or were just little Ol bama when it comes to NIL.

Actually, they probably have the biggest advantage other than LSU when it comes to having all the deals and money to themselves without having to compete with another Big in state university. Don't even mention the Barn, they are irellevant.
