AR15 is a freak. Straight up. A guy that size shouldn't be able to run away from even an FAU defense that easily. On that 70+ yard TD EJ would get run down. Nimble, powerful, fast, imposing size....I sure as hell hope GatorJ is right about his throwing ability. If he is, we gonna have some fun

Get ready for another disappointing, inexplicable season.

Then we’ll start AR next year, he’ll kill it and bolt for the NFL. So help me if we only get one year of AR starting.

Those deep passes at the end were with walk on receivers. With Henderson and Copeland streaking down the sideline those will be completions.
His arm is strong and he makes those throws by almost a flip of the wrist. And it is SOOOO FREAKING FAST and effortless.

Not sure about his short range accuracy but most of Mullinz' offense are simpleton throws. I don't really doubt that.

The running... I know it is FAU but it takes something special to make that many guys look stupid.

Im excited about his future but I sure hope he has a decent HC and OC soon.

One guy can't overcome Mullinz and Fat Dwag though.

When he hit that hole and the sidelines on that 73 yard carry, everyone around the tv had their jaws drop. A guy that big should not be that fast. That was maybe the play of the game. If he builds on that, he could be really great. He has a spark that we haven't seen yet with Emory. Maybe this will push Emory to play better. If not, you cant keep playing him over AR.

Yeah WR #22 Jackson on two of those throws by AR had poor effort going after the intended pass. Especially the first one. Looked like it would have been a TD if he had just kept running.

Even against FAU, he shouldn't be able to outrun everyone.

Even against FAU, he shouldnt be able to make 8 guys look stupid on a power run.

He was clearly the best athlete on the field. We had several five stars touch the ball, and they weren't nearly as athletic.

It will unfortunately take Emory getting hurt for AR to get a legit fair shot to start, just like Franks with Trask.

Dip**** Dan ain't no QB Whisperer.

Jacksons are Gator royalty and that was a great attempt by Dan to get lil Jackson a catch. Love that he is wearing 22.

I forgot he is one of the Legacy Jackson's. Willie Jr is one of my alltime favorite Gators. Love that he is wearing 22. He will be a contributor eventually if he is like his Unc. and Grand pop. I take it back, maybe it was more of an over throw than poor effort.

Going back to AR, I didn't believe the hype because we have heard things before about a player being good in scrimmages or whatever and it mostly never pans out. This kid is different. I'm trying to think of a player to compare him to and maybe Cam is the closest I can come up with. Who do you guys think he plays like? His running is so effortless. He looks like Randy Moss just blowing by little fast DBs.

I'm not sure I would go as far as saying Randy Moss. Randy Moss was just incredibly fast. Randy Moss was like a high school star playing sandlot ball with 6th graders, especially in 1AA.

I would say he is definitely that kind of game changer that Cam or Tebow were. maybe not quite the power back. the passing frankly at first glance comparing you know basically freshmen, looks better than Tebow to me and tons better than freshman Cam, who was an absolute mess throwing the ball. I wasn't even sure he was going to be at quarterback until he got his motion fixed at junior college.

Not sure if you were at the game or watching the game but the announcers seem to be having that " did we just see the birth of a superstar" moment.

I'm the world's worst bandwagon guy, but right now I suspect the AR15 bandwagon is huge and everyone else is on it too.

Probably even EJ.

I can't help but notice that EJ was efficient for the first two drives. then AR came out there and did his thing, which immediately ups the pressure on EJ. Maybe it wasnt just the pressure of seeing AR be AR, maybe it was something else, but I don't really believe in coincidences.

Not disagreeing but so are the Browns. And taking my youngest down to just behind the players, I watched Vernell(‘02-05) make a shocked face like “wth” after Richardson made a big play on the final drive. I also saw Malik Davis do the same. The whole team responded to AR. I’ve been a big believer in Jones and love all that he’s done. But AR is night and day at this point.

I also think it was garbage that EJ came in on a drive he didn’t start and got stuck throwing a pick because of poor play calling, but the second one was egregious and every other throw was really low or too high. Not sure where the kid from Lsu and Aub ‘19 went, but this was nothing like that. I expect him to start the USF game, but not confident he finishes. The whole flow of the first half was botched, hindering both QBs.

My exact thoughts on watching EJ after the first two drives. Didn't look like the confident player he was against Auburn. He was composed, made his reads quickly, delivered the ball on target, and ran effectively. Maybe losing Brian Johnson might have something to do with it.

Was Johnson even here in 2019? I thought he was just last year. But maybe.
