This thread got a bunch of feedback on Mudlizard, not as many old fuks here but thought it would be fun

"Iron Butterfly" was the unofficial name of my Bradley in 93-94 and my gunner would play in-a-gadda-da-vida through the 1780 so it would play in our CVC helmets while rolling down the Korean roads. We'd flash our Iron Butterfly hand signal at all the ROK soldiers standing on checkpoints or at the gates of their camps. Not really a fan of the song, but it did have a certain awesomeness while rolling at 45 mph in 26 tons of Bradley. 1956741_10152875511941255_8459092527376634446_o.jpg

Definitely a hippie anthem, and a good un. It was adapted from the Henry Thomas original from 1928. The Canned Heat hippies had to borrow from the past ;).
