Way Too MUCH.
Is there any chance they apparently do not work hard because UF pays less than the schools that recruit well? I'm not saying that's right or acceptable, I am just throwing it out there. I might have said on this thread I think the self absorbed fool Stricklin hired should have spread that $1.5 million raise to his crappy staff but I guess that's not how it works in "me me me land".

I wonder if his assistants would follow him once he's gone and on to a mid major gig in the mid west? By now would some of his low self esteem assistants realized he really is a bad HC?

Google it yourself.
It is exactly in line with all the other sec schools and even on the high side where appropriate based on their previous pay and success and experience. Ignore the donkey…

I'm ok with that. If he goes to LSU and is successful then I'm ok with that too. The way I see it, he will be Bama's coach after Saban finally hangs up his whistle anyways if Riley does well...

Fuchsing idiot. Do you really want to compete with the $300k coaches at Vandy and Kentucky? Or the $600-750k coaches at Bammer and Ugly?

Now I agree with you that our coaches suck and dont deserve what they get, but hiring garbage from West Texas and USF for cheap is how we got here. An our history of hiring some mediocre below average coach on the cheap and then somehow giving them three and four raises they don't deserve, bc they are onntwitter a lot or something, certainly distorts the overall numbers. I'm not just talking Grantham here, Robinson too is paid about three times what he's worth.

Baker Mayfield. Kyler Murray. Jalen Hurts. Caleb Williams. Riley has failed to win a single championship with those guys as his QB. That is an exceptional achievement in failure. LSU can have him.

5 Power 5 conference championships in a row. 3 playoff appearances. All while recruiting in the hotbed that is Oklahoma. Yep, garbage.

Not garbage, just mediocre. Only getting the bare minimum with elite QBs. And the Big 12 is only a Power 5 conference because of Oklahoma, the rest is Power 5 trash if you ask me. At LSU he will be lucky to win anything.

Overpaying, underpaying, paying when you ought to be charging rent. Can anyone argue that AD’s office has ever had a good feel for market value?

more importantly this ad's office has never made a solid higher outside of the two that were forced on them, SOS and CUM.

I did. Compared to Bama, we pay less on average by a lot. I would be that's true for Georgia and LSU as well. I do not care to look at the rest of the SEC. I seriously doubt SC, Miss St, Ole Miss, Vandy pay more, perhaps not even equal. We do not have an OC. That should give us some to spread around to the other position coaches. Why do we have two secondary coaches or a coach specific for CBs? Who cares. Nobody outside of Mullen's home address think he has a clue.

dude? Seriously? No doubt, they have not earned hundreds of thousands of dollars, none of them. Mullen is so incredibly over paid. How does America's most mediocre AD sleep at night knowing he robbed his employer?

I do not know if we gave him a raise but it was $290k. He is not worth that but some other program would offer more. You are correct, most of the coaches are way overpaid.

I fail to see how a moron like Dan Mullen can be paid $7.5 million and his highest assistant $600. If I worked for Saban or Smart or a different real winner I would accept it.

they are no doubt being paid more than they are worth. no freaking doubt. nobody is knocking on the door trying to steal our coaches.

I can't believe that Stricklin fell for the I'm going to the NFL trick, or viewed him leaving as a negative thing at all.

I remember when we were trying to get a wide receiver coach who was going to fix all the butters problems, the guy from Oregon if I recall correctly. then we found out he was making almost three times what we pay, so we went to FIU to steal their running back coach and moved him to wide receivers.

freaking slumlords. can you imagine Alabama or Georgia making a shttty fuchsing hire like that? Hiring Jules? we do it damn near every year.

So, UF should offer Riley the same thing. With no state tax in Florida, he'll be getting a raise.
