Don’t see being no. 1 and then completely falling out of the playoffs. Mich will be the new no. 1, provided they win. Dwags 2 or 3, and Cinn no. 4.

If Michigan gets beat, then they fall to 3 or maybe 4. Michigan getting beat is the only way to avoid a Bama/dwag match up in the first round.

You are probably right but I would hate that….like I said, logically you can’t be the best in the country if you aren’t even the best in your own conference…I can see why the country hates the SEC…almost every year we take 2 of the 4 spots

I agree with you about being best in your conference, which is why I wasn’t really a fan of the playoffs. It lessened the importance of conference championships.
