Who said anything about slaves they represented football players being sold to the highest bidder.Kapernick called and wants his narrative back... so, the slaves got paid back then? Ok, got it. I was told something else.
I don't think the NCAA was advocating for this. Wasn't it kind of forced on them? What's going to stop Barstool or any business from contacting a kid to go into the portal to a different team for a big pay day. Slippery slope the NCAA created with this.

Oh I agree couldn't of happened to a better team.Absolutely. I do, however, feel like this couldn't have played out more perfectly than it did. The obvious, it hurts the noles, win number 1. But it also does a little damage to the Deion narrative that he can pull whomever he wants, whenever he wants because the kid was paid. 1.5. And lastly, as you say, it will absolutely be a catalyst for more regulation regarding this, but after the damage is done.

If it happens to FSU will be epic but a kid should not be able to even hear what NIL deals he can be offered until he signs. No different than a coach walking in with a blank check and giving it to a recruits parents. If that's the case we don't need to recruit we need to have an auction.
What's been Portnoy's complaint?Portnoy said he’s gonna go hard after ESPN and break their dominance of the CFB landscape. He dabbled a bit this past year and kicked college gameday’s ass at the same venues with his own barstool show. It appears he’s serious about amping it up going forward.
He hates the mainstream media. He’s not one of them, so they keep trying to destroy him, and he said it’s time to start fighting back. What's been Portnoy's complaint?

Lugenbill was talking about this a few nights ago. Not so much a kid playing at a Jsu level team, but seeing the NIL thing and tripping over dollars to chase pennies. I just told a friend, by not facing Clemson, Florida, miami type teams each year over the next seasons, how much does that delay his progression to the next level, which would present itself in film work and at the combine. If he slips 4-5 spots in the draft that year, there's your 1.5. If it's a round or two that he slips, he's lost a fortune. That was TL's point. The NIL thing was supposed to help and it's actually costing some kids money because it's becoming a distraction and pacifies the situation. If you're that great, the money will come and you'll be scoffing at a million dollars.
They just gave Norvell an extension last night for some un-Godly reason. So, when cornrows gets the axe next year and the semis hire neon, does he bring the kid with him to FSUx?
