Napier didn't inherit a team completely void of talent. No, we are not where we want to be, but there's no reason to think we'll be anything less than 2nd in the division. Okay, so this class is closer to par with Tenn and UK. We still out recruited them in every previous years, and neither school will out recruit us next year and the years following.

Considering what this class look like a couple of months ago, this is the best transition class we could have hoped for. The future is finally bright.

I was impressed with the ESD maneuvering on such short notice.
Only mildly disappointed we didn't land a heavy hitter on NSD.

If he recruits really well and wins 12 games in his third season, do I care what color his blazer is? Tribal-insecurity seems so woke. Obviously the guy is too preoccupied to worry about something as qui-er as fashion.

School colors are not about fashion statements. They are official school colors.

Napier could be the best recruiter in the country, but if we don't have donors and businesses shelling out huge amounts of money to recruits, then a consistent top 3-6 class may not be possible. That's just how it's going to be with NIL, and Napier doesn't have full control of that component.

That said, I'm impressed with how he's done with only 2 months. I expect that we'll have a solid top 10 class next year. He's doing all the right things so far imo.

Top 10 puts you about 5th-6th in the SEC. If he doesn't do better than that then all the positive momentum we currently have we fade pretty rapidly and we will be doing this whole thing over again in the next 4 years or so. I expect he can do a lot better than top 10.

This group (recruits and transfers) exceeded my expectations. The fact that the transition class is much better than what we would have gotten if our 5th year coaches with their prowess and relationship building would have stayed tells you the hole BN is climbing out of. Perkins, Matthews and Citizen left a bad last impression, but overall it was a helluva good effort considering Mullen was actively trying to get fired and tank the program on his way out. It pisses me off that we are paying numbnuts a penny of his buyout.

I was really hoping to not have to wade into this arena again, but ... At least it fits.

First, me too, but no it doesn't fit. This is worse than the color.

His sole actual sportcoat you referenced that he wore to the intro presser and in nearly every recruiting photo does fit, but he clearly brought that with him from Louisiana and didn't get it fitted in Gainesville.

I'm sure there's another off the field assistant role he could hire for to help with this

And here is apparently the real issue - lack of staffing. We are at least 3 straight coaches in with disastrously oversized clothing like a 10 year old wearing his 13 year old brothers suit to a wedding. Forget the coaches, it is the people of Gainesville who might be really suffering.

The entire City is obviously devoid of a single tailor. Either that or Heavy D's stylist decided to semi-retire at the Men's Wearhouse by the Oaks Mall and is having an outsized impact on the regional style.

I was really hoping to not have to wade into this arena again, but I feel like I have no choice. The problem is it’s not a sport coat at all. It’s a suit coat. So if he’s wearing matching pants, it’s strictly about the questionable color. If it’s jeans or something else, it doesn’t work. That said, coaches generally dress terrible and he’s a far cry from the last moron. At least it fits.

The real question is: Who is that guy and who does he coach for?
