Can you imagine the lack of support if he’s back next year?

Is Stricklin a huge bum or what? Mullen, keeping and extending(!) White, the situation with the Women’s team (and extending that coach lol). Makes me real concerned Napier is gonna suck

Look at the (lack of) support **this** year for your answer. Basketball game-day threads are lucky to make 2 pages...and another 2 pages of people wanting White to be fired. The O-Dome almost never is sold out for gamedays--we don't get premier treatment on ESPN anymore, etc.

ZERO surprise or shock that we lost this game. Looking at the schedule, its looks to be a very rough finish for MW's career here at UF. #2 AU, #23 Ark, @UGA, @Vandy, #4 UK, then the SEC Tourney so we will be lucky to finish 2-4 to finish the season and could easily be 0-6 which would be a 8 game losing streak to end the season and finish off at 16-16. UGA and Vandy are road games and they will be looking for REVENGE big time since we beat both of them earlier this season. No chance MW survives the season.

I believe Mike White has fully fulfilled his players with doubt. So other teams will have to throw the game for us to win.
As witnessed in the aTm game other teams improve, grow to a consistent level, while White's teams stagnate or grow worse.
UF cannot (no team can) strengthen a program with White's recruiting selections, certainly not by his practice teaching. White's style develops no identity to build on.
White gives UF a street pick-up group just ad-libbing piss-poor patterns over & over. By his inspiration players cannot make layups at a high %., certainly cannot close to increase the likelihood of helping with rebounding. Phooee.!

My worry is that if Stricklin doesn't ax White because of this pitiful season, then next season White lucks into a couple of really good portal players that give him undeserved staying power. I cannot take any extension of Mike White's Gator career.

Listening to sports talk radio here in Jax this morning. He said the Mike White haters are a small minority and he proceeded with his list of excuses for him. Then had the audacity to remind us Billy D had a losing season his last year. You can’t make this sh*t up!

Although many indicators suggest that Scottie will finally make a change this season I still fear that your prediction is accurate. Scottie has proven that he shies away from conflict and big decisions.

Another strong indicator to suggest he’s in trouble is the ESPN guys doing the game started early on the Mike White slurping mantra to try and convince the audience that the sucky basketball you see is not sucky basketball. When this starts in the first half you know he’s in trouble.

Scottie can make history this year by being the first AD ever to extend and fire three coaches in one year.
While you process that, please explain to me how he still has a job.

He’s correct. Billy had a losing season his last year but I bet he didn’t mention that it came after three straight elite eight appearances.
Listening to media defend CMW should convince you to never listen to anything that person says.

If you are defending CMW you are either completely incompetent or completely compromised.
Either way I don’t respect anything that person says moving forward.

The UAA, press corps, and large chunk of the fanbase are so invested in the sunk cost that is Mike White at this point they will never give up. They’re like a gambler stuck at the slot machine. They’ve put in $500, and won back $150. Then another $200 later, they just “know” they’re due to win one. When they do, they’ll tell themselves it’s really working.

You can’t save them. Just let the dead eyed zombies flush it all down the toilet.

UF basketball is dead. We’ll always have the sweet memories of the 04’s…

Ummm...no. Check this year's record against quad 1. I think it was 1-9 last time I looked. It's a myth that MW wins games he shouldn't, at least this year.
