@CFBFilmRoom: Florida landed one of the top WRs to enter the transfer portal this offseason in Ricky Pearsall.

Here's a look at some key route-adjusted numbers from his 2021 season at Arizona State

Don't know anything about this kid, but if he's someone Billy targeted and then landed, I'm encouraged.

Be nice to know if incoming receivers came because they watched films of AR or by other means acquired a desire to catch passes from AR's arm.?

AR was one of the reasons that Pearsall came. According to a report.

I would think so. Seeing the flight path traversing so crispeedy, tight spiral, and so quickly arriving before any coverage can touch anybdy -- well that would make any WR's envisioning success after success - not to mention being hit in unflawed stride. I know I'm looking forward to watching that passing fancy.

Hepatitis is an upgrade over Jacob Copeland
I understand that Copeland is considered a guy that's not living up to his HS billing and that he comes across as a guy with an ego and attitude. But he was our leading receiver last season. If our leading receiver was not "great" then what kind of WR roster do we have? ... I thought I read he was our leading WR.

Keep going with this line of thought.

We really have no idea exactly what our WR corp actually is because we had a QB who couldn't find them last year and they were understandably depth behind Pitts, Tony and Grimes (I know...but we didn't really know yet in 2019) the year before. Factor in the Whittemore and Elksnis were hurt most of last season and we had a coach who totally followed the seniority rule no matter the talent behind them...and we had a QB who couldn't find them...we really have no idea what our WR corp is like.

And I believe with AR and this coaching staff, the average *** WR will play better than what played under Butters and Cousin Eddie.

Now "better" might not get us to ATL but it will be better.
