I have a good friend who's a BuckNut insanity level. He was arguing with a bunch of us Gators just last year, saying if Ted Ginn doesn't get hurt, they win the game. Hysterical, I say, he needs help. 15+ yrs and we are still in their heads. My other buddy says " Hey, don't forget about the B-Ball Natty in 2007, we Luv playing you BuckNutz for Nattys! "

If we’re playing the back in time “what if” game, if Reggie Nelson isn’t blatantly held on that opening kick, Ginn doesn’t even score there and they get the 3-n-out fest started early.

So at first it really bothered me that they appear to be in numerical order other than the 7 on the left of the first row. Then I decided that these couldn't simply be people that showed up late, Napier is too detail oriented for that (wouldn't have even second-guessed that thought if Mullen was still coach, he wouldn't care at all). So, I started thinking maybe the whole left side is seniors. Then I realized that it is only the first row, so I'm thinking there have to be more than 7 seniors.

So, finally I went to the roster and looked them. It's true, those are the seniors and there are only 7 of them -

#0 - Trey Dean III
#2 - Amari Burney
#40 - Jacob Watkins (Punter)
#41 - Justin Curtis (WR)
#45 - Eddie Battle (RB)
#86 - Jordan Pouncey

I didn't realize just how few seniors we have (though some of this is due to the COVID year as many of the juniors I would imagine are actually seniors but listed as juniors due to the extra year).

Also wonder if it's an indication of how badly or lack thereof Mullentham recruited.

Actually, the fewer seniors you have could mean the opposite. If you are kicking arse you aint staying for your senior year these days.

It’s incredible how the number/position relation naturally creates a perfect V of white people. One of the true wonders of the modern world.

I took a look at the media guide yesterday and was scrolling past bios. So apparently Ventrell Miller was part of the whole credit card thing and was suspended all of 2017. I knew he’d been around for a while, but holy smokes.

Anyway, he obviously learned his lesson and has become a great leader, so good ending to the story. Hope he has a massive year.

They had 82 total yards. 82. Their Heisman QB threw for 35 yards. Those are the most mind-boggling defensive stats in CFB championship history and will never be touched.
