Not defending but you do realize we are 1 bad throw away from being 3-0 and 2 of those wins would be against top 25 teams.

Strange world isn't it?

To answer the original question, I'll always take a win but I feel dirty after this one.
And we are very close to being 0-3. I would say 3-0, 2-1, 1-2 or 0-3, all are feasible given the way the team has played and the staff has coached. And whatever the record is or could be, we are no where near a Top30 team today in talent or in coaching ability.

I think we are in for a rough time up in Knoxtown next Saturday.
Hard to say. UT always comes into this game with so much emotion that you never know what will happen. I think this plays into UF’s favor. Last thing Tennesse needs is going into a Gator match up feeling like they should win.

But.... By every metric, they should win.

Football does take some weird bounces in Vol - Gator games.

But you still got the Home Cooking!

It's hard to argue your statement.

We sure look like a paper tiger on the field.

It is setting up nicely for the Vols. Home game, UF issues at QB and finding their identity.
This is exactly what concerns me. I’ve seen this movie many, many times before.

We are a dreadful football team . Assignment ball isn’t our strength and we continue to play guys like Dean and Burney who get beat 90% of the time .

The play call at the 5 that lead
To the INT is almost beyond belief. So egregiously foolish it’s almost unfathomable. It seems like our best player is a seldom used reserve defensive lineman that weighs over 400 pounds .

Let's see........ the one we lost 26-16 (10 pts). The one that KY scored on a pick 6........... A pick 6 can result in a 6 to 12 pt swing plus XP, unless a FG is involved which would be a 7 to 9 pt swing.

Well according to Napier, that was a run that AR checked out of...

Im going to go out on a limb here and say AR is trying to pad his stats for NFL scouts rather than do the basics. Multiple times in the UK/USF game he refuses to take the easy five year completion or five yard scramble and instead chuck it and airmail it or get intercepted

He is starting to mentally check out. I think he has limitations that are becoming apparent as well, but this has been tough to watch. I thought for sure he’d bounce back and be the star we’ve expected him to be tonight. And even if it didn’t tell us too much because of it being Usf, it would be a confidence boost. Instead, it got worse. That back foot pass to a LB was a towel throw moment in my eyes. No chance he makes it through the whole season. Sucks, but a reality.

I’m all for bagging on the staff. But I also think it’s time to start asking some serious questions about AR. This is a complete 180 for me from about 8 this morning. But he is a tremendous athlete that has not shown the ability to consistently play QB at this level. Not defending Mullen, or Napier or anyone else. It’s just time to recognize that he may not be what we thought.

Honestly, if the last two games are any indication what we are getting with AR, I'm fine with that. Id rather take Miller. Sure he aint gonna go win you a game but he will likely take the five yard pass rather than the INT
