Agreed. Armstrong looks like he might be the real deal.
However, in the big picture it still concerns me that Patrick Toney was Napier’s handpicked candidate for the job since it suggests poor judgement.

Also, if our most experienced qb after Richardson hadn't turned out to be a pedo, we'd be in a much better place offensively. But ya gotta play the hand you were dealt. I think we could have done better in the portal with regards to qb.

The QB who was already behind Quinn Ewers (who looked good today) and is now competing with Arch Manning could be interesting. He looked pretty good in the Texas spring game today. If he thinks Arch is passing him, or getting too much NIL, I could see him entering the portal.

I was in Austin for my kid's 7v7 tournament and saw them in person. Murphy looked better than Manning, but is likely to slip behind based on profile and name.
