Im not saying dont win over the parents, but how bout doing it by simply being a good group of coaches, taking an interest, being honest with the kid and his family, really impressing them on campus visits and gamedays, etc. What was shown above is absolutely cringe worthy. A football staff decorating a hotel room and a freaking bed with rose petals and laying out champagne and hors d'oeuvres for some kid's parents cuz it's their anniversary?
