Binged it all last night, the georgia game and response is definitely in there, must all be in last episode. Focused on them coming on the field, the loss, then the hate for a year and the Moreno hit and win. Didn’t mention the 2 timeoutsI've watched three episodes so far. Actually love it but, as all of you, I'm a Gator.
I could easily see another fan turning that off pretty quick.
Observations.
Never realized the leadership from Siler. Wow!
Most of the Tebow stuff, I've seen before. Even the workouts on his farm in Jacksonville. High school stuff. Except, the midnight weight lifts and the footage of Tebow in "Camo".
Strange they didn't delve into the Pouncey's. Although, Given that both of them were very close to Hernandez, that story line could have been damaging.
As I said, I've not seen the entire thing yet so, I'm disappointed they didn't show Ga storming the field in 07 and our answer in 08, including Spikes destroying Mareno.
From comments previous, that's all still to come.
I was surprised about Spikes and how long it took him to take the leadership role Siler asked him to take.
Yes, Leak "highlights" very hard to watch. Although, they did show the "Fumble" that was an incomplete pass, that cost us the Auburn game.
Overall, Gator fans should be very happy about this. So far, a great inside look at what we once were, but haven't been since.
Also clearly shows the hard work, team work and dedication it takes, to get a team to that level.
But they did though, were you partying during the 3rd one and miss the entire thing? As I said, I've not seen the entire thing yet so, I'm disappointed they didn't show Ga storming the field in 07 and our answer in 08, including Spikes destroying Mareno.
yeah, i thought it was in the 3rd too, but might have been in first half of 4th... i mean, they DEFINITELY showed and discussed the whole coming on to the field thing and the motivation/ass whipping for the next year. Was only surprised they didn't mention the 2 TOs at the end of the game. But they did though, were you partying during the 3rd one and miss the entire thing?

Thats funny because I never really got mad at Leak. I was always screaming at muLLLLLLLen and his stupid playcalling as if he had a mobile QB and not adapting for what Leak was good and bad at. I actually remember being angry at muLLLLLLLen for the entire era because his playcalling sucked so bad that he couldn't ever really dominate with that stacked roster that Meyer got him. Our defense won us those championships inspite of muLLLLLLLen's crappy playcalling.I'm only through the first episode, but still want to punch something watching Leak slide a yard short against Tennessee. How many games did he cost us pre-Tebow sliding a yard short.
I just remember one of the LSU games under Zook when he slid a yard short. If he had dove for the first the game was over and instead they kick a FG to win because we had to punt.Thats funny because I never really got mad at Leak. Stadium steps, mat drills, midnight workouts, puke buckets ...I just remember him winning MVP in the biggest game of his life. And playing for 3 different off coordinators.
I just watched the first two episodes. If you still hate Urban after that you have no clue about the history of Fla football. Siler mentioned it a few times. IN 100 fckkn years of Fla football they had only won it once.............So far i love this damned documentary........takes you back. I was at many of those games. Over half of them.

I got mad a Leak on that slide. Dang dude, look at the 1st down marker.Thats funny because I never really got mad at Leak. And we still kinda scraped by on offense a lot in those games. A lot of our blowouts had a lot of defensive contributionsI was literally just having a conversation with someone about that earlier after sending them the IAKOW article. Two national championship rings for Mullen. One based almost entirely on defense, and the other season, where he managed to scheme his way to making Tebow, Harvin, Hernandez, Demps, Rainey, Murphy, Nelson and 3 future NFL starters in the OL into a great offense.
I dont GAF how close our wins were. Or which side "won it for us" Bottom line is we won. The offense made the def better in practice. and vica versa. Team sport.
Special teams played a major role too.And we still kinda scraped by on offense a lot in those games. A lot of our blowouts had a lot of defensive contributions
People say that is why sos left. Cause even winning wasnt enough. Had to win by huge margins. FFS, those were national championships.............but still not good enough. btw SOS was God. Urban was moses. And here I thought you were a Spurrier fan all these years. He wasn’t afraid to call a spade a spade. Our offense in 2006 was terrible. And the one in 2008 should’ve set nearly every NCAA record. Instead, as @neteng pointed out, we spent half the time grumbling about the Tebow left/right calls and managed to lose a game at home. Spurrier would say we were fortunate in those types of games, didn’t deserve to win, call out sides of the ball(even his own) and make changes. That’s a winner.
