He makes about $583,000 PER GAME, WIN OR LOSE. So yeah, what the eff does he care.

P.S.- Let that sink in for a moment as you try & wrap your head around that sum. $583,000 per game!
Reminds me of Buc’s HC Todd Bowles. Stand with his arms crossed looking like he has to take a shyt.

This may not be the place to ask a specific question about a play in the game but, here goes.
My seats are low on the west sideline and late in the game Peasall jump and tipped a pass on the east sideline while it looked like Wilson was possibly streaking down the sideline and was the intended target. Does anyone have any insight on what went down on that play?

I think the ball was to Wilson and probably a TD, Ricky was underneath and jumped thinking it was his.

Yes as with many of our routes 2 WR's were way too close together so it could be Pearsall thought the pass was meant for him but it was probably meant to go to Wilson as it looked like ARK was in Cover 2 and Wilson was running a good route against Cover 2. Also why it is often easy for 2 of our WR's to be covered by 1 defender at times.

Routes converged...again...and Ricky tried to intercept it to save Trey Wilson's possible TD.

I don’t share the rage about him. I think he’s a great guy. He’s just in over his head in waters he’s unfamiliar with. I’m sure he’d fix it if he could, but he doesn’t know how.
And I agree sooner is better than later but I’d prefer to wait until someone other than Stricklin is making our next coaching hire.

Why is he a great guy?

Thanks for the responses. You would think, if the routes are intended to draw defenders to one guy, like Pearsall the underneath reciever he would know who the ball is intended for. Poor coaching or lack of discipline. Either way it's exactly how you lose games you should win.

His answer to another ST debacle is to talk about kids who have opportunities? What in the cinnamon toast fck is going on?!?!
Worst was that he blamed a young player for the substitution disaster at the end of the game. As if that should be the responsibility of a young player and not the coaching staff...or lack there of.

He literally responded to a question about the most recent debacle with "yeah, but we covered punts well today and had a couple of nice returns".

Can't speak for anyone else, but this man does not hate losing as much as I do.

It's like I said earlier, he's not going to all of a sudden have a lightbulb go on....if that were the case we would see some consistent improvement at least in some areas. And we just don't outside of an occasional series or 2 per game of decent play calling. I've tried to look for the positives this program can build on but without winning games like this the players will never build enough confidence to challenge for titles.
He watched a mediocre team that changed OCs mid season hang 39 on his team today. If that doesn't give him a clue, nothing will.
Fsu canned Taggart in the middle of his 2nd season, why the hell should we have to wait half way thru the 3rd? Billy ain't gonna sniff 6 wins next year with that schedule, guess we'll be in a coaching search again this time next year.
I'm guessing money and hoping to stock the roster and reduce the millions we have to pay him the change is made. If we sign this class, which seems unlikely, the next coach will have a decent roster to work with. TBH, I don't see Lagway signing. Hope he does, but I ask myself, "would I trust this staff?"

These Tiger's are going to be really pissed off for next week if they lose tonight.
They don't need to be. Arkansas did not play angry today.

I'm envious and disappointed.

I think that is probably the case, but what I think everyone would like explained is why are three receivers on the sideline, all within 15 yds of each other? What is the strategy there? Seems like it invites confusion as well as defenders. Made no sense and the season has been littered with similar pass play designs.

Why is he a great guy?
Why is he a bad guy? Outline the reasons. Be specific. Omit nothing.

I get the hatred and the blood in the water for his coaching, but Napier has been nothing but friendly and professional since the day he set foot on campus. You don't need to make sh!t up to try and make a point.
