I think that is probably the case, but what I think everyone would like explained is why are three receivers on the sideline, all within 15 yds of each other? What is the strategy there? Seems like it invites confusion as well as defenders. Made no sense and the season has been littered with similar pass play designs.

Why is he a bad guy? Outline the reasons. Be specific. Omit nothing.

I get the hatred and the blood in the water for his coaching, but Napier has been nothing but friendly and professional since the day he set foot on campus. You don't need to make sh!t up to try and make a point.
I agree this is not personal. He is professional and friendly. I do believe he is probably a great guy. He comes across a a great family man as well. I do believe he is stubborn. I think it’s safe to say we all wish he would make coaching changes and maybe after this season he does. With that said his coaching drives most of us crazy. Clock management is poor. I feel like he has no killer instinct. Is that due to the players he has or is that just playing it to safe. God only knows.

Dear Sweet Baby 3 lb. 4z. Little Baby Jesus, please let the home loss in this way to ARKY be Sling Blade's Ron Zook loss to Cowbell moment!. Amen.
Zook was fired at the end of that season. Napier won't be. The better comparison is this was Napier's "Will Muschump loss to Georgia Southern moment." A large percentage of fans thought the 11-2 season in 2012 was smoke and mirrors and the rest hoped that Muschump would be a long-term solution at coach. The Georgia Southern loss solidified in everyone's mind -- except Fooley -- that Muschump was a dead man walking who would be fired after one more year. This feels like that moment to me.

Napier ain’t gonna have to worry about preparing for a bowl game. So all his time can be used on recruiting and fixing this staff. Hopefully he don’t wait on the staff part until spring time, I’m hoping we know something by at least mid January.

Zooker looks like Lombardi compared to Sling Blade.
You weren’t thinking that in 2003 when he was micromanaging Charlie Strong’s defense.

Off topic - I met Jerious Norwood a few years ago and thanked him for getting Zook fired. He lives close by me. Really nice guy.

Napier is obviously excelling at recruiting. (I have my doubts about the class holding together.) But he's really terrible at two critical head coaching functions, staff selection and game management. And there's a third non-head coaching function that he's terrible at, offensive coordinator.

I don't think Stricklin and the Admin have the brass, but he should be fired this year. This far into his second year, we have plenty of observational evidence that Napier ain't changing. He may replace as staff member or two, but next year will look the same. It may actually be worse if we lose this recruiting class.

And on staff selections, even if he makes changes, look at his big change this year, hiring Armstrong. Armstrong never impressed me and I think his defenses are soft. That hire doesn't give me confidence that Napier will hire a decent OC and/or /ST coach.

And that debacle on the play to spike the ball. I cannot calmly discuss that play so enough said.

Nappy has the same problem that Mullet has, his loyalty to his Sun Belt level staff he brought with him !! And we will continue to lose to teams like a 2 win arky because this staff is in over their heads, He had one chance to keep from having a losing season, beat a 2 win arky team IN THE SWAMP, and we all saw how well that went.

Fuch his mystical process, this far in to his tenure we should be seeing progress. Besides his lousy in game decisions and play calling, his CEO organizational skills suck just as bad. the 2 OLine coaches are just as competent as the ST coach... (get it, har har) , and his scheme is super basic..

Can he hold this recruiting class together for the next HC when we finish the season on a 5 game losing streak? Because what kid wants to play for such a schit show on the field? Getting a 5* and then not coaching them up will kill future recruiting It will only improve with one of two ways, get rid of Nappy, or Nappy makes a complete overhaul of the useless staff, which isn't going to happen..

Napier isn’t going anywhere. People that think he is are are
just fooling themselves .
I do agree that he should trun over the OC job and hire a special teams coach. He has too much on his plate at this level.
I think going into the game yesterday 99% of Gator fans would have said 36 points would be enough to win the game. My biggest question is the level of our play on defense. Our linebackers look like they have never seen a wheel rout, why didn’t we spy the QB ? I don’t know if our players are that bad or the coaching on defense is that bad.
Napier isn’t going anywhere for a while. it’s amazing how much better your coach is when he has good players, it took Kirby 6 years to beat bama , this Guy will get there.

Well no I wasn’t thinking it then, because he was being compared to Spurrier then.

Where did I say he was a bad guy??? Show me, specifically where, omit nothing. After you do, I’ll better be able to answer your question.

Despite taking 6 years to beat Bama, Kirby’s program never looked this bad. Our issues aren’t due to lack of talent.
