I’ll see your succinctly stated mostly irrelevant statement with my own. Salmon swim upstream into fresh water to spawn. Tuna, on the other hand, spend their entire lives in the ocean. Both can be great sushi, but it really depends on how it’s prepared.
Unless a lion f’s with them. Then they’ll devise a breathing apparatus from kelp and hunt you and your pride down.

You sir are correct. I don't know why we would chose to be in the NFL D League mix.
because it's better than being a 1aa team fighting Charleston Southern or whoever's in the Southern Conference these days for a championship no one's ever heard of.

I see both sides. Stricklin went into it all in the interview. I...know you all watched all of it, right?

This kind of goes back to that dude’s tweet on how much NILis impacting everything. It is for sure impacting everything, but it is not the end all be all. Teams do not have an unlimited amount of money. And the amounts that they’re throwing around aren’t legit IMO.

We might’ve lost Amaris Williams to Auburn because of NIL. But along the same token, we did not get Jeremiah from Ohio State. And we offered the most NIL money. And considerably the most. Miami was the second most. He actually came out and said that although he was getting obscene amounts offered to him, he chose Ohio State because they put dudes in the league.

Apparently we are the only team affected by it because the teams committed to winning are still committed to winning.

But those schools will never survive an economic upheaval, like 2008 or 2020. No chance.

WRs arent coming here to get 400-500 yards and especially not to fight Kinfuchsy and Gamecawks for second from last.

I've said all along that you recruit all of Florida first. The most talent in the country is right there. Sure after that and along with it go out and get Talent from around the country. But if you win Florida, you'll win in recruiting, and then you'll be winning period. And it's true as we have seen before and now becoming more evident with the portal and transfers. Many/Most are from out of state and not to mention, "I am worth more $$$ than this" bullshyt. Pretty simple, your recruiting footprint and travel should be easy. Work Florida for all it's worth.
Florida plus the 3-hour footprint into south Ga & AL needs to be the bulk of every class. Go farther after difference makers like Percy & Haden, Sharif Floyd, etc. but set that bar high.

But you’ve got to win in Florida.

Set the bar high meaning like top 50 maybe top 100 in position of great need and let them commit or not. None of this flirt flirt flirt try to flip from OSU or Bammer til the buffet is picked over then running to Germany for a project or to Texas for leftovers.

Pearsall just had the most yards in a season a WR has had at UF in years. And that was with a subpar QB with a noodle arm.

33 Players had over 1000 receiving yards this year.

Taylor Jacobs last did it for UF in 2002.

Mind boggling.

I thought if Napier did anything for all that Pearsall did for the program the last two years, he would have fed him the ball to get 52 yards against FSU. Nope.

Billy's starting WRs all the way back to Clemson get 450 yards worth of screen passes.

It is like saying Douchebag Dan is a good OC because once every 12 years he has a mediocre offense instead of terrible.

We protected that lead with a reverse half back pass...... again what the fuch.
Scared money, baby!

He is hilariously conservative on first, second, and third down, then waterhead retard on 4th down throughout his career. This isnt new, although he was really lucky with close games at Lafayette one year, much like Chimp was lucky with close games in 2012.

This guy was on the shortlist for OC for Chimp and Sharky for great reason.

And an OL that gave him very little time to throw.

Had Mertz not gotten hurt in the Mizzou game Pearsall would have easily gotten over 1K on the season.
