For me, the biggest unanswered question is this: Why did so many good players just lie down and quit on their coach in Orlando.

Next question: Have you ever seen Saban's players quit like that?

He refused to change the offense for one person, Treon. Basic coaching 101 is you tailor your scheme to fit your players. Urban had to do it with Leak. Are you saying this coach is above reproach? No one can be critical. He's doesn't make mistakes? Come on man

Basic coaching 101. YES exactly. It's what they do in high school or div 2 where you never are going to have the talent to do what you want. The SEC is grad school and coaching 101 isn't going to cut it.

Urban changed his offense to fit Leak? Yeah he did. But it was Chris ****ing Leak! A damn good QB. And a damn good team surrounding him. So yeah, changing a few things that work to Leak's strength's was a good idea because Leak actually had strengths!.

Thought I was more polite when I pointed that out.

LA. tech his first year
2008 Sugar Bowl (after losing to UF)
2013 Sugar Bowl (not the same Bama team you saw through the season, they admitted they didn't prepare)

It happened to Bama so its ok it happened to us. Got it. Let me know when we own recruiting and have 100 MNC's so I won't care about some meaningless bowl game.

A question was asked pertaining to one coach as if it has never happened to him. It has, that is the whole statement. Now in my opinion, the last 5 years of offensive suckatide have more to do with offensive recruits at least having to do a double take before choosing us then one bowl game. They look at 2010-2014 and wonder is it really different. It's a business decision.

Why do you care what happens in a meaningless exhibition game? The players didn't care... why should they. What do they get if they win? They are playing in Orlando... they went from the SEC Championship to a nothing bowl game in Orlando and you want them to be all pumped focused and excited?

Bowl games mean more to fans than they do to players. Players just want the free stuff. It is an exhibition game... recognize it for what it is.

T Rex's MO is to constantly complain and say that everything is going to sh!t so that when things go wrong (which will happen to every organization at some time or another) he's there with the "I told you so". His answer when things end up going right is always to say, "Boy, I'm happy to be wrong. Go Gators!"

:jerkit:

He's been doing this literally for years and years dating back to Meyer. It's mind boggling that he's so self unaware that he actually seems dumbfounded when people continue to point it out to him.

You had to be one of those people that screamed Muschump was 11-1...he was 11-1 and said that loss to UL did not count

Actually it's complete bull****. I was complimentary of Mac most of the year. Saturday's were fun again. Sorry I'm not making excuses for the guy after he falls for that fake FG. Everyone knew it was going to happen. Anyone gonna excuse that? And the blow outs were inexcusable.

I think T-Rex is concerned about the "mayday-mayday" dive our Gators took those
last 4 games.?.... and why Michigan players-coaches took that silly Orlando bowl
game so much more serious than our players-coaches.

... and T-Rex, my discernment on that fake field goal is if the holder ain't holding
then he has to rise up off his knee before he catches the snap to be a passer or
runner, otherwise he's down when he received the snap.
