I made Bama my go to 1B team a few weeks ago....didn't help...
If Bama stomps through the playoffs, then Bama and Sabin are bad for CFB.??

I really don't give one shyt about your happiness. If winning our bowl game increases the perception of our program and Aw shucks...then go out and win it and win it big. Time for our country bumpkin coach to show he knows what he is doing. I'm tired of BS pumping.
This was just a very poor hire from day one. Mac has basically rode a talented defense to MEANINGLESS SEC Easts. Next year? El Crapo is going to have to stand on his own two feet. Look for him to get trucked.
Bammer's weakness is in pass coverage in their secondary, probably by design. If there were a few teams left that played fun and gun and beat them with vertical passes, I'm sure Saban would adjust. As it is, the conference is full of people playing 1950s power football or sideways offense (with short lateral passes basically serving as a sweep) so he chooses DBs that are stronger against the run.Honestly, a good passing team could and should have won that game.
Injuries are a factor, but for us to rush for 0 yards even with a lot of subs is just ridiculous, even if it is against Bama. I know you have to factor in sacs, but 0 rushing yards? No way you win or even stay in the game with this production.Regarding Cover's 2nd bullet, number 3. One difference between OL when we played LSU and Bama was that Martez Ivy wasn't injured when UF played LSU, and though he played yesterday, his ankle was not really 100%, and then it got reinjured and taped again. It seems like njuries almost have to affect the amount of push possible from and through the athlete's body on OL. Don't know how much of a factor that was for overall line performance..
The good news is that Iowa is awful so we will be looking in the mirror in Tampa.
I don't want to look in the mirror. It would be nice to win the bowl game, though.
Its not the length of the ship but how it holds the rhythm of ocean ?Kelly was never a top tier recruiting.
To say he'd bring more bluechippers than CUM is silly. CUM's 05 class was legendary, arguably GOAT. Hell his 2010 class (at least on defense) was pretty close.
Stud, I think you have captured it.Let's see if I have this straight after reading the takes:
- Need significant increases in 4*+ recruiting, especially on the lines, backers, and QBs (since we never started/played our frosh this year, we may not have one, but then we feel the HCs ability to determine such talent is dubious). Coach Mac's BBQ and backyard pool party persona doesn't sell well to players wanting the coaching required to get to their next athletic level.
- 2.5 years into his tenure, Mac and his staff doesn't have the salesman message that works/persuades the top recruits and their families to go UF.
- In comparison to the real deal schools, we are not 'big' or 'strong' enough as a total team make-up. Strength is debatable as it relates to conditioning and injuries.
- Our facilities compared to the top football institutions are laughable to top recruits compliments of Foley and his secondary sports redistribution of wealth plan.
-GCMB hates the "participation award" coaching demeanor of Mac and thinks it is poisoning the proud product of Gator Football.
- At this point in Mac's tenure, Sunshine Pumpers should anticipate being castrated if they continue with their naivety.
- We are easily 5 years away from any chance of reaching the evening of confetti and chest pumping, provided Mac is expelled after next year.
- The local sports media continues to be absent a sack by not asking the most important questions to Mac- "How do plan on competing with your knob slobbering respect for the 'Bama like systems by only recruiting 3* and walk-on equivalents." "Why are the primary and secondary intra-state institutions/rivalries cleaning your staff's clock in recruiting and what specific changes are you planning do to about this".
- 'Wait 'till Next Year' is back in vogue.
Man, this is going to be a long, long, agonizing off season.
All I can say is a hopeful and please some coach help us... Go Gators!
You say that a lot, don't you?Its not the length of the ship but how it holds the rhythm of ocean ?
Pumpers have always been castrated.- At this point in Mac's tenure, Sunshine Pumpers should anticipate being castrated if they continue with their naivety.
Nah, I just read an article about this quote gracing the pages of many legal books at UF's law library. You say that a lot, don't you?
We're in a new era, Coach. I don't like it as much as the old one, but if I'm going to stay involved, I need to adjust. Regarding strictly X's and O's and other programmatic pieces, I'm just not feeling a ton of confidence right now with the product I see on the field (understanding that injuries have an impact, but that an unbalanced roster and recruiting struggles have impacts as well). I also may be misinterpreting Mac's dialogue from his pressers, but they strike me more as a guy who's ok with showing up and having a good experience whether winning is one of the outcomes or not. I don't think he's a "Tareyton" kind of guy (from our era :)) like SOS was and I think we need that type mindset from the HBC.Now you didn't have to get personal like that...........from this view pumpers aint quitters.............unlike the group that on anything positive and 24/7 if they can't strut and preen in front of their rivals...........ask the dwags how bad it has been or UT up until their decade of flatulent futility finally ended. Used to be when we we struggled and failed to reach the top we focused our hate and anger on our rivals, now with this new generation we turn on our own,..................welllllll FUCCCCKKKKK THAT ****>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I SAY...................

Call it what you want, but what is not easy for me personally is to watch us struggle for going on 8 years now. And yes, despite winning the SEC East for two consecutive years, I think we are struggling. Maybe those two tiaras would mean a little more if we hadn't entered the SECCG on the heels of two losses at the hands of F$U (the two-point offensive outburst game in '15 was a lot more competitive than this year's version IMO) and then followed them up with the Bama beatings. But hey, it's Bama and I guess it should be ok to just be able to show up and wait for the second-place trophy presentation (not saying that is what you specifically are implying, but I get the feeling that there are some who are fine with it being like that)? Sorry, but my moral victory days are gone.So it's just easier to join the Dark Side..... (reference Star Wars, not BLM)
Thanks, Coach. As for SOS...I just wish I could see his kind of competitive spirit more now as it was back when.Cover can never be considered dark side. Pragmatic with a little "times have changed, get on the train or be left at the station" for sure, I get it, respect it, no problem..................BUTTTT hearing the SOS over and over and over gets my ire up and I guess it did at 5am this morning,.................
