There’s a difference between what is being reported - your source material included - and the frenzy around it as well as how much one sets your heart on it.

Let’s say Kelly isn’t hired. Does that mean you were wrong? No. Does the fact it didn’t happen Friday mean those reports were BS? No. When your source says it’s imminent, that’s a read but it may not pan out.

So...I’m not going to wrap myself around that axel. I’ll watch, I’ll wait.

And yes, there’s a lot of buzz that is riffing off other’s info mixed with speculation, false reporting and who knows what games agents etc. are playing in the buzz. That’s fabricated.

Aren't the people most likely to get information the guys that cover UF for a living? Other than Pat and Robbie, of course. No one tells them anything. In other words, I'd trust the word of Thomas Goldkamp on Gator news more than I would some hack like Chris Low.

My 2 cents worth.

If Sticklin and UF really wanted Kelly and vice versa he should've already been announced.

It could all be subterfuge with Kelly posing instead for his pupil Frost. Think about it, the last 10 days have taken the spotlight off Frost so he could continue to focus on his great season at UCF.

Hopefully they've already reached an agreement with Frosts agent. If not either Kelly or Frost, Sticklin's going to have a lot of 'splaining' to do, especially having such a head start with a brand and footprint
