7 mil a year? 4 mil tops. 7 mil should be for Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, Bill Belicek and Pete Carroll type of money.

Good luck to Dan. He will be better than Mac and Will Mus. Remember no one knew Jimbo would be a championship coach and Mullen's pedigree is better than Jimbo's was when he took over FSU. MSU has had some good years in the brutal SEC west lets see what Mullen can do in the weak east. But it still feels like a letdown. A shame. They never recovered from Urban tanking his job then leaving.

Hope Mullen can find a QB to play as well as his last 2 at State.

I know these are Stricklin’s word "Coach Mullen will do a tremendous job in developing accountability and toughness through a well-coordinated strength and conditioning program...” but I think they’re some of the most important. Under Meyer we had one of the best strength & conditioning programs in the country, I think for long term success and player healt it’s imperative we get back to that. If not we’re going to keep ending up where we are now with a make shift line to play behind on both sides of the ball.

I posted the same thought on the other thread. I think SS spoke to Kelly and Frost because he had to , because of the fans.

We'll be better under Mullen, a lot better if he can recruit and bring in good DC and ST people.

But he's going to be seen as a retread, and that's not what the fanbase was hoping for. It wanted to feel energized by a fresh face and a whole new outlook.

We'll be okay.

I will be positive and support Mullin. But I am like much of the fan base, I was hoping for something fresh and innovative.
