JM 101. Attribution. Dooley neither cites the source nor reveals the basis for his story. We are left to imagine him regurgitating the previous night's dream.

We know this can't be accurate because Dooley has Foley asking Meyer about his philosophy on weight training. A decade later, Foley forgot to ask the same question.

Unimpressed.
Your source was an opinion piece by a writer who says provocative things to get clicks and qualifies it with saying "this is what I believe happened".

Pretty impressive assumption you make backed by nothing.

I base it on more than that, but you asked for attribution so I provided it. At least my linked source had the balls to admit it was opinion.

Dooley's a lazy writer. He just drops a series of unsubstantiated graphs and leaves it to the reader to figure out if they're factual or conjured up in his brain.

Your unproven unbacked opinion is the sign of the real lazy writer. Dooley gave very specific times and flights and dates.

Like Sgt Schultz you can see it but won't accept anything unless it fits your unbacked vague opinion.

You give someone credit who has the balls to claim things he has no proof that they are true and covers himself with "I believe this is what happened". That is lazy.

The definition of Irony.... complaining about a writer being lazy, then using quotes from Dooley as reference....

Before you start the false accusations jhbryd, I'll go ahead and list you BS for you...

You will claim I'm bias
You will claim I'm emotional
and you will pull up an article that references a snapshot in time that doesn't take in the whole data set.

No need for your worthless reply.

78 started talking about a writer being lazy not me. If he is going to say Dooley's article was lazy than provide facts where Dooley is wrong. Not more vague unbacked opinions.

Foley has a manifesto on how to repair Florida's broken offense, dated December 2014, also locked away. Should we dust that off, too?

Where are those SEC East trophies? Ive never seen the commish give out SEC East trophies.

I must have not been paying attention.

They do give out SEC East trophies, even when we’ve tied for the east but didn’t go to Atlanta on a tiebreaker (as happened with Zook and Muschamp). UF probably doesn’t display them but others do.

Muschamp also had terrible injury luck.

Luck? Zook and Muschamp seemed dogged by hurricanes and other storms along with other weird stuff like the crocodile on the media guide cover. So yeah, there was that too. But misfortune in what what you can control and poor preparation seemed amok as well.

Regarding the injuries, some is luck but some is rooted in S&C training. I’m no expert in that but have questioned the rash of injuries at different points going back even to Marrotti. Dilman’s era wasn’t good on that regard.

The credit card suspensions were the equivalent of a major NCAA penalty. Bet Mac regretted throwing the administration under the bus in public in the past when that came down. They had no reason to protect him when he screwed up and complained publically about the death threats.

In part you could say laziness took Mac down in year 3. His players got lazy in the weight room which can sometimes lead to injuries. He had been getting out worked on the recruiting trail. The credit card scandal may have been avoided if Mac was more proactive in counseling the boys on doing the right thing othen than making general statements about doing the right thing.

Then he had old fashion bad luck losing defense leader Harris and offensive leader Del Rio among others to injury.

I know you are a good Gator fan and by your picture you likely were upset we asked Spurrier to submit a resume ( of course it is in the trophy case) and then took Meyer. I am a big Spurrier fan also and always defended him.

I just like to be fair and accurate on these sites for the Gators. The good and the bad. If you had given me specifics on the Meyer hire other than shock jock Bianchi I would give them more consideration. Dooley being in town has an advantage on Gator news.

No "they" dont. You can buy yourself one that says Life Champion of whatever you want but the SEC has no such title as East "Champion" and the SEC gives out nothing for it attending the championship game and getting donkey punched.

Show me a picture of the commish handing anyone anything like that.

Pat has shown himself to be adept at signing up for the paid websites and taking advantage of the Sentinel's home delivery service.

Hoss, they look exactly the same. They get delivered by FedEx or UPS.

Those are two SEC East championships that Georgia doesn't have.

Again waiting for a reliable source that you have other than your Sentinel opinion writer known for making provocative statements he believes to be true but has no proof.

Please define your "more than that" that you base your opinion on. Maybe it is more legit than Bianchi. Hopefully it is not something like Donkey told me. Donkey claims UF pays twice what Saban makes annually when including buyouts. UF has never paid twice Saban's and paid less in 2017 and will pay less in 2019. Slightly more in 2018 due to a lump sum for Mac.
