Many so-called Sunshine Pumpers have a rep for being positive people when in reality, they're not. Like I said, they just direct their negativity and their bitter, post-loss frustrations in a different direction, that's all.

It was temp while he was very sick. He survived cancer and the name has stuck.
A certain poster here once had the GC Pub named after him too for a short while.

It "stuck" because whoever changed it forgot it was to be temp, he obviously survived and his name should have been removed. I knew that since a close friend of mine used to post over there until he was banned over a spelling error that they 'assumed" was something else. Even after being informed they arrogantly made a larger ban.

Seems corrupt to me.

Cant speak for the ban...but leaving an almost 80 year old cancer survivors name on the forum was a kind act...not an oversite. Whoever claims that is flat out wrong.

Well then perhaps they should not have advertised it as temporary. Of course it was not an oversight, it was corruption. They never even admitted they were making it perminate, that I could have understood.

And I have been wrong before, and will be wrong again, after all it is an opinion, so really it can't be "wrong" if it is honest.

Ahhhh old GC. Was a member there since 2000, before it was GC. Got permanently banned for making two negative posts. Things really changed over there. I’m glad to see some of the old posters over here.

She edited my posts with him daily while I was whipping his ass in a debate, yet left his idiotic ramblings and spinning stuff there. Calling her out was what led to my 3 day ban and then my quitting last August. I just don't know what took these newbies a year to follow me here! GatorCop was the only mod there left I thought wasn't compromised in some way. Tilly was certainly complicit as he was a mod while the libs took over and started editing and banning those that they couldn't win debates with. I never had issue with he or OKLA but their silence was deafening while the libs ruled the mod roost. So much better over here where you stand or fall on your own..

Was it MSU? That was my first game. 1982 Mississippi State. 10 year old kid with my dad, Rained like crazy in the first half. Lo Hampton had 3 TD's to lead a comeback win.

I haven't posted there in weeks after the incident I posted about earlier--but, this weekend, my account was permanently banned. The only reason for it that I can discern (since I have not posted anything over there in weeks, so there's nothing to warrant a permanent ban) was because of the comments I posted here. Which several other posters have verified as being truthful.

THAT is the level of arrogance and delusion that the owners/admins over there have. It's all about control to them and they can't stand that they've lost a significant portion of their longtime posters to a competitor--even after they were politely warned by multiple people that their actions was driving away business. So be it. It's not like they're the only Gator message board on the Internet.

A lot of this thread is mainly venting (which is healthy to a point) from the cadre that's come over here and I do appreciate y'alls patience in letting us vent. Hope it's entertaining, at the least! :D
