Sure....then he went to Illinois and sealed his mediocrity....
His resume is still better than any of those.

One Rose Bowl appearance too.

The rest of those guys are lucky to be 7-5.

Look – here’s the deal. I’m not sold on Mullen but I think there’s a lot of overreaction to the Kentucky game. A lot of us expected them to lose a couple games they were not expecting to lose and for this to be an up-and-down season. Just like all the people that over reacted after game one a ton of people are overreacting after game two.

As Mullen had said in his post game presser - what if they threw a Hail Mary and won the game? He said people will be talking about A helluva come back again by Franks. And it doesn’t change all the problems that they have. This is a deeply flawed team. He said it as much.

To me he has only made one horrible decision. And that was to hire that piece of shyt dwag Grantham.

Stop bringing those mutts to our program.

J, I get it...and I'm sure most here do. It's not losing to Kentucky...it's HOW we lost to Kentucky.

Offense has been a problem around here for 9 years. BUT, we just gave up 300 yards rushing to....Kentucky. UGA ran for 270+ vs. Muschamp's SC defense...and Kentucky's running game ain't what UGA has in store for us.

Losing a competitive game vs. a quality opponent is fine, it happens. Getting your ass beat - at home - by Kentucky is another.

If Mullen, this team/players, and the coaches want the benefit of the doubt give us a reason. He looked no better than the last two coaches we had on the sideline. We all get it that Butters left the cupboard bare...but this was Kentucky who ran the ball right down our throats.

No, it is losing to Kintucky.

And having a coach who didnt know there was a problem on offense.

And having a fuggin dwag as DC.

Not disagreeing with most of what you said... but the last time we had a hail mary to win a game, fans were calling into the radio show less than 10 minutes after the game wondering if Butters would last the season. Just putting context to the statement.

I don't get it. Two...games? What does that mean? He's been an SEC coach for 9+ years, Muschamp 6+. Muschamp went 11-2 and played in a BCS bowl game Mullen was ranked #1 for a week - that's about both of their biggest accomplishments as head coaches.. Muschamp's had 1 losing season (Mullen has had 2). If you're crowning Mullen a better coach than Muschamp at this point in their careers I'd like you to give me the winning lottery tickets because you obviously can see into the future. Sure, we all hope Mullen is a better coach...we may even "feel" that he is a better coach, but when you lay out their career records it's pretty even.
Two games here man. It isn’t transitive. He gets time to come in and build a roster and win with them.

No one is saying he isn't going to get the three years, no one.... but the evaluation to getting the 4th year did become harder due to the game on Saturday. To not see that is just delusional.

Nothing delusional about it. 2nd game with a shyt roster who doesn’t work hard. Multiple plays could have won the game. Players played like total ass. To think for one second this team wasn’t going to drop a few was delusional

No one is saying we aren't going to drop a few, most people are expecting a roller coaster. But to drop one to Kentucky in this fashion at home is more than just dropping one. If this was Mushchamp, Zook, or McElwain and not the OC of two of our National Titles how would you be viewing the product you saw on the field Saturday night?

What point of a shyt roster who doesn’t work hard don’t you understand? Mullen said as much after the game.

This team needs an emotional revamp before it ever gets a talent revamp

I understand, I also understand he has had since last December to get them working hard. That is why he is paid $6 Million Dollars. I don't give a schit what he said after the game. If it is about them not working hard, that is fcking on management. He is management.

He is paid like a top 10 coach but his resume is 50th-80th, at best.
Man, you're over-the-top negative. You might as well take a 3 or 4 year vacation since you're so convinced everything that Mullen does is bad.
I'm all for being honest and even giving needed criticisms, but you border insanity with some of your statements.
I generally like your posts because you're unapologetically pro Gators. And not a ridiculous pumper.
But you're insufferable when it comes to Mullen. He's not the 50-80th best coach. That's absurd.

Mushstank, Zook and McElstain were all coordinators in national titles. That doesn't mean shyt.

You resume is what YOU have done, not what you watched someone else do.

Go ahead and send Meyer and Saban and Dabo their papers bro. You act like this is unheard of. Never before seen in football history. A team loses to an underdog. With a coach in his second game with program leading a bunch of fuggin losers recruited by a shark fkking quiver lipping sack of bbq sauce trash. This roster is flat out garbage. And we are going to lose before we win. That’s the end of the story.

Slevin, in a couple days you are going to re-read your responses and see what an asshat you sound like. You're going full Byrdman with you responses.
