Look – here’s the deal. I’m not sold on Mullen but I think there’s a lot of overreaction to the Kentucky game. A lot of us expected them to lose a couple games they were not expecting to lose and for this to be an up-and-down season. Just like all the people that over reacted after game one a ton of people are overreacting after game two.
As Mullen had said in his post game presser - what if they threw a Hail Mary and won the game? He said people will be talking about A helluva come back again by Franks. And it doesn’t change all the problems that they have. This is a deeply flawed team. He said it as much.
To me he has only made one horrible decision. And that was to hire that piece of shyt dwag Grantham.
Stop bringing those mutts to our program.
J, I get it...and I'm sure most here do. It's not losing to Kentucky...it's HOW we lost to Kentucky.
Offense has been a problem around here for 9 years. BUT, we just gave up 300 yards rushing to....Kentucky. UGA ran for 270+ vs. Muschamp's SC defense...and Kentucky's running game ain't what UGA has in store for us.
Losing a competitive game vs. a quality opponent is fine, it happens. Getting your ass beat - at home - by Kentucky is another.
If Mullen, this team/players, and the coaches want the benefit of the doubt give us a reason. He looked no better than the last two coaches we had on the sideline. We all get it that Butters left the cupboard bare...but this was Kentucky who ran the ball right down our throats.
