Look, I really enjoyed pasting Tennessee but we need to be more consistent in the running game, the passing game or both. I am also glad that Franks did not turn it over. His TD to Int ratio is astronomical.
No buts tonite. I’m enjoying the win. Buts are for next week.

I’m already annoyed by the narrative that Florida capitalized on Ut’s mistakes to win this game.

No.

Florida’s defense made spectacular plays to force turnovers early then capitalized on those turnovers to seize control of the game and force Ut to take more risks. Reese’s opening INT/fumble recovery was caused, not an “oops” play. The next INT was caused by a DL drifting back into coverage in anticipation of the play.

Grantham deserves a lot of credit for this.

The special teams play was excellent again.

The offense was competent against a decent defense, albeit with a short field much of the night. But we didn’t see repeated stalled drives and missed opportunities.

This was a solid win against a very bad Vol team. But our guys were ready. Our young DBs played well.
Yes, a much more aggressive and confident D gave the O the opportunities to put this away

@AlligatorArmy: Feleipe Franks is 34-for-71 over his last three games with eight TDs. 50-for-95 with 13 TDs on the year.

So just under one in four completions is a TD, just under every eight attempts produces a TD.

Also, many people still think he's awful.

What a weird season he's having.

Announcers said that was our most pts in Rocky Top since 43 in 1984. I was there! On a bus trip with Atlanta Gator Club. Neyland "only" seated something like 94K then. Biggest crowd I'd ever been in. I thought it still wasn't as loud as 72K in FL Field. Was hotter than hell. Won by 13, 43-30. As our buses tried to leave, the inbreds threw whiskey bottles at our bus. So long ago that oldest son, a Gator fan, was just one month old!

How on God’s green earth did you convince your wife to let you TRAVEL to a Gator football game with a one month old baby in the crib. My hat’s off to you, brother Gator. On another note, it must have been tremendously gratifying to sit on that bus while the toothless ones reeled in anger outside .

Never...and seriously I mean never....have I enjoyed a game thread more than this one. Up 33-3 and we were still disparaging our coach, play calling , and our QB.

I threw a huge party and we enjoyed 4 quarters of dominating football. They didn’t give us shyt....we took it. Defense was stout. Offense capitalized as needed.

0-8 in the SEC....no.

I guess Kentucky was better than we gave them credit for. Either that or Miss State is worse than we thought.

I give him credit for that but he does not have the speed of Nick Fitzerald. Their completion rate is almost identical, hovering around 50%.
9.6 yds/attempt is pretty good despite the completion per centage.

Great you had a grand party. In the 90s and 2000’s I did as well. It’s been several years now. I guess I need to start up again.

The three or four 3-&-outs in the 3rd qtr had me worried. I’ve seen too many teams come storming back when that happens. Happy for the win though!

Most at our party were my kids friends....average age probably 23-24. Most didn’t see the Spurrier years but caught some Meyer years. They just love THESE Gators. Great party!

Nobody suffers a dominating Tennessee win in a night game at Rocky Top more than the Gator Chatter dumpers. Nobody.
