It was 5 plays.

Sorry, I guess I should translate my last post by using more words and typing slowly so the officers in the room can keep up... Seriously, I thought I adequately hinted it wasn’t all game long.

Would you rather see DM force it up the middle and tell EJ he better gain weight faster??? I know he prefers a Tebow, but I’d like to believe if he has an elusive QB that he’s willing to reverse the roles, especially when he’s got a D Pierce in the backfield. If EJ or JJ reaches 230, then by all means, run the Timmy Option.

This is absolutely correct. In fact, Mullinz/Creyer didnt flip the RB up the middle QB outside aspect of their offense until they landed Timbow. Alex Smith didnt bash the middle, the RBs were the inside power guys and the QB squirted outside.

There's articles out there indicating perines already made it clear he's working on draft preparation and that he's made the decision already.

TL : DR version of the last 10 pages:

-We're 2nd place champions for many recruits.

-Anything can happen on NSD relax, trust the Mullinz.

It looks like perine has been preparing since the off season. I've never seen a player get as strong and as fast as he did over one summer. He's gone.

I forgot about Smith. When meyer was on on our radar, I don’t remember a single espn highlight involving Smith up the middle, but he broke several long runs outside the tackles.

Edit: Btw, gotta be a short list of duos who could match the team of Timmy up the middle vs Percy on the edge.

Can’t seem to find that article. Please share?

Draftscout has him the 30th ranked running back which would put him anywhere from 7th round to undrafted. Not saying he’s not going but

Perine is insane to go.

Everything I have read and heard this class should finish similar to last years class, relatively strong but not amazing. We must thrash FSU though. We lose to them we could have problems. If all goes well we have a top 10 class barely.

Otherwise, expect FSU to fall apart. Also, Miami is not looking great either.

We should learn a lot over the next month now that football has ended for a lot of the recruits.

saw one linked on Twitter. Was from Mari's account. Sorry but I didn't save it.

I thought that last game I saw Perine do things he hadn't done last year. He made a jump cut that I hadn't seen and he waited for a hole to open. Anyone else see this?

Money dreams may lure away Perrine, but I thought that he has just begun to show heavy-load reliability that the NFL goes all in on. Thus, he needs another year of meaningful CFB running.

He’s been great this year and I’ve said it since game one he should be starting. He had a cut against LSU where he ran right into Heggie that was a thing of beauty.

Just for posterity sake,

S Bubba Bolden has been liking a lot of UF stuff on Twitter including fans telling him and Steele to come to UF together.

I really like Perine and I still believe he is our most consistent back. I think he plays on Sundays but he really needs one more year. If he leaves, we are still in decent shape at the position but I do believe his stock climbs after next year as long as he is healthy

I’ll weigh in on Perine. RB’s only have so many miles on them. Besides, his draft position will depend on the combine. Nobody thought Fred Taylor was a top 10 pick until he nailed the combine. Perine should go if he thinks he can hit the benchmarks at the combine. If not, come back and get a degree.
