You're like that woman that just can't let go of the man that left her years ago....still stalking him on social media, driving by his house, asking friends about his new love......just let go man.....
You’re an embarrassment.

Because I won't worship Leyer? Or because I dislike OSU?
Because YOU are the one who obsessed with hating him faaaar more than me loving him. YOU are the one who needs to "let it go". All people have to do is read this thread to see that very clearly.

I've never "rooted" for OSU in my life and never will. I just find it amusing that those people who hate Meyer (which is fine) try and tell the rest of us that he can't coach (which is absurd). Don't let your hate take over reality.

Wrong, I have hated OSU since childhood and always will regardless of who their coach is.....The fact that their coach is a miserable sack o sh!t of a human being just adds reason to dislike them even more.....

Will you still be worshipping at the Altar of Leyer when it arrives in South Bend?

Wherever Meyer goes he'll be successful. I think he's proven that by now.

If you can't win your conference or even your own division then you don't belong in a 4 team playoff. It doesn't matter who we think are the 4 best teams. It only matters what you did on the field.
Let me get this straight; you believe that if an 8-4 Northwestern (two of those losses were to Akron and Duke) beats OSU and an unranked 7-5 Pitt beats Clemson that they automatically deserve two spots in the Playoff because they won their conference?

You completely contradict your point about winning the conference when you said "It only matters what you did on the field." I can assure you that OSU and Clemson did much more on the field than either of their conference championship opponents.

Doesn't matter, only Conference Champions should be in a playoff. A conference championship should mean something. One of them should be, "I won this fair and square, now I get to move on to bigger and better things".

Way to dance around the question....now respond honestly. Will you throw out your secret stash of OSU apparel and breakout Gold Leprechaun pajamas when he done breaking the Bucknuts program and hauls ass?....Based on your strong reaction to this topic as well as being the thread creator I think it's a fair question.

And yet... I have video evidence that when Ox is not wearing Auburn attire, he wears Ohio State sweaters.

The answer to your "fair question" is I've never owned any other college football apparel that wasn't the Gators.

And since you are too dumb to get this through your concrete head, I'll say it yet again: the ONLY reason I respect and defend Urban Meyer is because of what he did for the FLORIDA GATORS - some of the greatest sports moments of my life. I'm a Gator fan and have been since my family moved to Gainesville in the summer of '89. Deal with it.

I also respected and followed Steve Spurrier when he was coach of the Washington Redskins and South Carolina Gamecocks. Will be forever grateful. And FWIW, Spurrier is my favorite coach of all time.

Meyer the person is a used car salesmen, Meyer the CEO/Coach is elite. He has excelled at every stop. He surrounds himself with outstanding assistants, and is one of the best motivators in the game. Michigan didn't have a shot against the roster that Meyer established.

Absolutely. Any conference champ deserves a playoff spot. By being champs of the conference they are de facto king of that conference. If they don't deserve a spot than it goes without saying that none of their lesser thans in the conference deserves one either.

An objective playoff system doesn't discriminate against a team based off their overall record. It only rewards teams based off what they accomplished. Any coach or player will take a conference championship over a 11-1 record with nothing to show for it. If not, I would question their goals and motivation at the beginning of the year.

I tend to agree with this. Yes, an 8-4 Northwestern team that wins the conference championship should get in over an Alabama team that loses in the SECCG. You want a shot, you have to start by winning your conference.
