I agree, except how late in the cycle it's happening. Maybe there is still enough time to let the new guy catch a big fish.

True.... It's a great hire. What he did for NC State's DL was amazing, considering most of those kids were underrated recruits. He's a Miami grad, former All-American...and coached at USF for two stints. I'm going to guess he's a much, much, much, much, much better recruiter than Sal. I like this trade. Just wish it happened after NSD.

What's the chance of bringing him here? Anybody have any inside scoop.

Was he not the one recruiting last class and this class? But youre right I should habe said last two classes.

I know he didnt have much time w the first class, but no one did. Why did all the other positions except safety manage to land recruits, but not DL? Those 200 pound kids are OLB we hope will grow i to DL, at best.

When the HC and DC are recruiting all you prime targets for you, it is clearly lack of confidence in his abilities. Easier to recruit at the hive.

I agree with all this. Just have to keep you in check when you start to exaggerate timelines
