I'm going to go out on a limb and say that scoring is what separates the NCAA haves from the have-nots. We're too deep into this regime to be having that problem.

We didn't have a problem scoring last year. Actually the other way around. Are you saying other coaching staffs haven't had years where they were inept offensively?

A team can shut down a one-dimensional 3-pt shooting team easier than they can shut down inside scoring.
Even when a good 3-pt shooting team hits'em it's at a sub-40% rate. That may mean that 65% of those shots are like turnovers.

Inside-shooting almost guarantees points at a 65% rate or better. Example: Nobody would say Hayes has a shooter's touch but he's hitting at a 65% rate.

It's like the butters defenders are taking their wrongness out on white, well except for NV. I don't get it. Wasn't it a little late in the Billy donavan regime to have a losing record? White has shown he can put an exciting product on the floor, he's shown we can make a run in the tourney and he's finally shown he can recruit with the big boys.
I know that there's some flaws to his game. I'm not happy about this season either. I think they hes mismanaged the end of some of this games and him abandoning some of the older players has been the downfall of this year. And It makes me wanna pull my hair out that we don't try get the ball out faster and get more buckets in transition. We're getting some stops but we're not pushing. I don't get it? I could understand if we ran some type of motion offence like Virginia and wanted to cut the other teams possessions down, like they do. But we're just walking it up the floor and dribbling out the damn shot clock. Wth! Damn all in one post , I've made myself as mad as yall!! Damn it!!

My issue is, even if we’re much better next year, Lewis and maybe even Mann are one and dones. It’s not like we’re guaranteed to have them 3-4 years like football. Only way White will stick is if he keeps landing 5 stars and learns how to put a competent offense on the floor.

Who are your inside scorers? I’m not seeing any. As in literally zero. Hayes gets a few putback’s and layup feeds from Nembhard. You write off hundreds of literally the same hypothetical posts, yet you never list who our inside scorers are. Who are they?

We supposedly had 3 top 100 2020 kids in town this weekend. If we're going to continue to have top5 -10 classes I think we can be pretty good. But if we back into the tournament next year and lose on the first weekend then we should pull the plug. I think it's a pretty weak pool to choose from for potential replacements and it's worth seeing where we head next year.

Something happened last year after the PK80 Tourney. We were lighting it up before that, #1 in the country in points, and the it all broke. I think White is in the head of the players and himself. Something hasn’t been right sense.
