What makes you think that Lawrence is going to leave after 3 years? They will probably have DJ Uiagalelei coming in after Lawrence. 5* after five star after 5* at QB.

Let's see how well he does this year and then the next before we anoint him the next football JC. Maybe he gets injured, maybe the DCs figure him out. Maybe his WRs are not as good as last year or his OL more porous. And maybe despite his success he wants to stay and enjoy all 4 years of college like Peyton Manning. Or the other Manning, Eli.

All I am saying is just wait and see about Lawrence and DJ or whoever Clemson brings in. Conventional wisdom say that it will be DJ. So little Hendo will be covered.
I think the overall conversation is that we need QBs that can pass the ball as well as run it. It's why we went after Beck. Now if EJ Jones and Jalon Jones and AR learn how to pass the ball, read defenses, deliver the ball accurately and on time then more power to us. If all we got is a bunch of Feleipe's with better running then I don't see us going anywhere. Time will tell but I want better passing out of my QBs. Think Deshaun Watson more than Nick Fitzerald. Think Dak Prescott's senior year.
