You'll see a lot of back up Major Leaguers that have .750 batting average or a 0.00 ERA for their two-game careers.

Plus in general we'd like to stick with players that are at least good enough to play in high school. That rule even applies for Walk-Ons, but I guess it is just an impossibly high standard for Butters to uphold.

Spread? He was a straight up Harbaugh until South Florida.

He has had a successful offense once in his career, the last year at USF.

He just hired Baby Briles, so I guess that means he is a Mumme style spread. Who knows though because Baby Briles has never actually called his own plays.

I also think people are putting too much emphasis on the QB position. In Willie’s offense, a lot depends on how the other 9 guys perform their roles.
