He and Scott Bentley were known for being FSUs rapey placekickers right in the middle of the decades-long rape and sexual assault problem at FSU during the Bowden-Fisher era.

Janikowski wasn't just a fatass kicker. He was a polarizing, in-your-face figure from our biggest rival at the time, the same rival that laughingly lost twice to Miami in the waning moments on wide-right.

I actually think I liked Dan Kendra more if that's possible.

Was it Kendra & Janikowski that were busted for video taping the other having sex with some girl?

Anything before 2000 is usually inaccessible on the web.

Those two were troublemaker extraordinaires.

Janikowski was twice charged with battery at Tally bars, the second time after the Florida game in '98.

He was so stupid that he tried to bribe a police officer by offering $300 to release his friend after getting arrested at a bar for trespassing. Then Bobby Bowden tried to tell us that's how to settle those kind of matters in Poland.
ESPN.com - NFL - Kicker faced possible deportation if convicted
He is one POS low life
"On that evidence, I just couldn't see how that jury could return a verdict of guilty with the doubt that permeated this whole thing," defense attorney Deeno Kitchen said. "You'd have to believe he's a liar and a perjurer."

At one point, the 255-pound Janikowski broke down on the stand when he explained why he shaves his head. He does so in memory of a boyhood soccer teammate in Poland who died in an accident several years ago.

But he was all smiles after the verdict, hugging his father, lawyers and agent Paul Healy of Jacksonville.

When asked about the verdict, Janikowski said, "It couldn't be better."

Healy nearly wound up in more trouble for a celebratory outburst following the announcement of the verdict. He let out a whoop and began to use his cell phone in the courtroom, angering Circuit Judge George Reynolds III.

Reynolds, however, decided against a fine after Healy apologized.

That's probably true.

It's certainly how they do it in most of central and south America. Eastern Europe is probably the same.

She had never experienced anything like a Gators game, in the Swamp before in her life. She was hooked immediately and fell in love with the Gators.
That was such a great game! Following the game as we were walking through one of the parking lots back to the tailgate, we saw a naked dude run right by us through the crowd with only a cowboy hat and boots on. We could only assume it was an FSU fan that lost a bet.

My season tickets were in section 55, south end zone, row 65. I never saw anyone kick the ball as high and far as Janikowski. I despise the “Warsaw Rules” and his affiliation with that school out west, but the guy did have an amazing leg and was a amiable, comical figure in sports.

I’ve also never personally witnessed so many people trying to rush the field near the end. Usually it’s a guy here or there that gets taken down and escorted away. But it just kept happening again and again to the point that I remember like a dozen people hogtied along the 30 awaiting removal.

But yes, you could argue that game is the best in the series. Fantastic night.

Arguably, THE BEST.

What a game. It’s my av for a reason. Though, I had a funny conversation with Spurrier where he totally shat on it as my greatest Gator memory. He simply said “didn’t you say you were in school in 96?”

Damn smartass. Either way, it was the most cathartic moment of my life (sorry kids, and wife - and Spurrier).

I was literally the next wave to get on the field before the three waves before us weren’t just arrested but brutally attacked by GPD. Foley took field security more seriously than facilities. Eventually, walk on Joe Ferguson did a Gator leap into our now front row position in the post game bliss, becoming my friends and my favorite non-star player for another year until he disappeared.

I walked back on University after the game and watched 3 people hop on a limo and dance around on top of the extended roof. An FSU fan with a sweatshirt walked by and from above one Gator limo surfer ripped his sweatshirt off his head and body. From that point I don’t know where a stick came from, but the limo surfer mounted the Nole sweatshirt to a stick and light it on fire. While surfing the limo he was swinging the flaming Nole sweatshirt (is there any other kind) like a burning flag over a still euphoric Gainesville crowd.

It was truly glorious. If you didn’t get laid that night in Gainesville you were really doing something wrong.

EDIT: also, screw that Jank piece of sh!t, but thanks for the epic Karmic comeback you started to unleash on the Noles and what Bowden described as one of his worst losses ever with your regrettable taunt.

We were around the 20 yard line and were thinking about going down to the field and then we saw all the folks getting hog-tied and we just stood there saying to each other, 'nope, not gonna rush the field'.
