It really is embarrassing scouting. It’s almost more likely to be an error, which they should claim, than their own scouting. They have said they didn’t like what they saw, but one of the worst players in the country basically? Come on. He’s camping now so maybe he’ll rise back up

He was at the Rivals Miami camp and kicked azz. Gerald Mincey was at the same camp and did poorly. Jovens has camped since last season. Rivals has seen him plenty. I don't know enough about the camping process. Is 247 at those same camps? If they are just going by his highlights or from his games I understand. Jovens was going against ankle biters on the d-line from what I watched on Youtube. He looked like Rocky chasing around that stupid chicken in Rocky 2. You won't be able to judge much from his game tape.

Bumper crop of DTs this cycle even just within the rivals 250. If we don’t pull a couple, heads will have to roll. Same at OT.

What is the story with DTs Rivers and Smith? Any hope for us?

And why aren’t we trending for any Florida OTs? It looks like Braun is trending to Chimp. Shameful. Again, if Mullen really values bring here, he’ll have to get ruthless with the staff in order to get kids here at these positions of need.

Last, are we in on any safeties yet? Doesn’t look like it.

On this staff I trust Gray, Hevesy, and Savage (at least to date). Probably won't be ready until a RS, but that weight is going to come off.

Savage will break him down and rebuild his whole frame. In Nic we trust.

There are no OL linemen who are ready until at least a RS and really three years. If you are playing a FR on your OL, your OL is trash.

While I admit my memory gets foggy with the passage of time, and while I agree this comment tends to be true, didn’t Nixon and Humphries play decently as freshmen? I thought they started. Obviously, this is not the situation we ever want to be in.

I wrote Braun off when his brother didn’t transfer to UF. Kinda surprised by him being interested in USCe tho. I thought he was leaning towards Ugly.
