I had not heard this, but apparently Huggins strangled a tutor last year. WTF? He got suspended for 5 games and "it was handled internally" or something. Sounds like he's definitely involved in an issue involving a female. Mullen said he wouldn't discuss it, but sounded like he's expected to return. Has to be on a short leash.

247 has an article about it. First incident was ****ing bizarre. He was getting his hair braided by another teammate during a tutoring session. He went over to the tutor and pulled her hair and said something weird. Second incident was about Huggins phone. He left tutoring sessions within the first fifteen minutes of each session I guess to avoid the session. So the tutor said he could have his phone back when he got back from leaving the tutor room for a minute. So he put his hands around the tutor's neck. I think it was a mistake to try to take his phone. But also the reaction shouldn't be to choke her.

Weve signed a wagonload of defensive linemen who neeed to add 60-80 pounds. So far Zach Carter seems to be the only one who made it to real DL weight...and he started at 240 instead of 195-210. Am I missing anyone who has made the huge weight gains we were told were imminent?

If he choked a woman I don't understand why he is still associated with the program.

Only thing I can think is maybe it was more of a joking gesture from someone who has trouble recognizing appropriate social boundaries. Like he was having trouble understanding what she was trying to teach him and he jokingly said, I should choke you and put his hands on her neck in jest, but it freaked her out. That's the only situation I could see being forgiven after appropriate education about acceptable behavior. If he put his hands on her with malice then that should be a zero tolerance situation.
