Good stuff from EJ.

Teams need to fear his arm so we’re not utterly predictable when he and Trask sub in/out.

Towson is playing hard and well, but it looks like we’re a head taller at almost every position. Still, the offense looks a lot crisper than UT-Martin which is nice to see.

The defense seems to lack intensity for much of the game. Funny to say that with a shutout, but they’ve let Towson move the ball.

Both QBs looked good. WRs looked good other than one drop and one play with confusion on the route. RBs looked better despite the OL still sucking out loud blocking for them.
Defense sucked early and often. Consistently inconsistent...except on 3rd down where they suck everytime.

Well, we're 5-0, but I'm not too confident going into next week. Our OLine is absolutely terrible at run blocking. You can't be 1 dimensional and win big in the SEC.

We are so Jekyll and Hyde on offense.

Pitts has two tds and had the lowest yards per catch at 7(!).

Cleveland was averaging almost 20 per catch.

Everyone else fell in between. That’s good.

Meanwhile we scrape out 160 on the ground vs an FCS team. That’s crap.

he passed until they backed way off then he started running the draw. we can do the same again.
Well, maybe SOS can get in Mullen’s ear because I don’t see him changing his run game. We’re 5 games in and he’s still b*tching about missed assignments yet we haven’t changed the blocking scheme at all to simplify it for the new guys.

With this WR corps and Trask doing their thing it’s the jv edition of 1995. Post Rhett we didn’t run for **** until Freddy T. and Terry Jackson got rolling.

Pierce is the only one with the brute force necessary to survive and contribute behind this line. I like Perine but he’s not the player who can get any results with this ol.
