Still a lot of support for WiLLLLLLLie.
"Idk what the big deal here is. We all expected a record of 6-6 or 7-5 and we are on track for that. Beating Wake would put us ahead of expectations. I understand that each loss is frustrating but we have to be patient. Yes, awkward timeouts are annoying, yes it sucks we have two barely serviceable QBs, yes it really sucks that our OL is garbage, and yes it blows that Aguayo is regressing. We are still on track for pre-season predictions. We aren't worse than expected, so that's good news."

Threat, where and how did you find my post? The last place I expected it to be copied & pasted was here. :giggle:

Lots of moving parts, the AD is leaving (and the President?). Do they wait for a new administration to come in and evaluate the situation. The boosters obviously wouldn't come up with the money to retain Jimbo even if they wanted to. And they reportedly went cheap on hiring assistants for Taggert. Are they now going to part with millions to take a chance on another coaching gamble. Don't forget they also have to pay buyouts to hire a new coach. The new guy will still be left with a shytty oline, no marquee players and an uphill recruiting battle. We've been there but we've got the money. Lots of tough choices in tallacrappy and no good answers. Couldn't happen to a better bunch.
Hell I don't even know what's worse for them to do. If they fire Taggert and get another bum, they'll be bankrupt. Woot woot!
Cam Akers is just about the only bright spot on offense and he’s gone after this year.

CHump was terrible. The only reason he had that one year was Dan Quinn and a bunch of leftover STUDS. The same type of fans that wanted to keep chump after GSU are the same ones saying to be patient with Taggart. They are the worst.

When they’re FSU/Willie pumpers they’re actually the best.

They way the contract is written the y have to pay him monthly over the original term.

“The University reserves the right to terminate your employment without cause for its own convenience at any time. In the event you are terminated without cause, University will pay you liquidated damages in an amount equal to 85 percent the total remaining compensation due to you through the end of the otherwise unexpired term, less required deductions and applicable withholdings for federal, state and local taxes. The payments will be made on a monthly basis over the remaining term of the contract.”
Well, that is cool. All they have to do is find a coach willing to work for 15 percent of what Willie was making.

They would be firing a coach after only two years (or less). That's a bad look. Made worse by him being an AA. But who would look at FSU's roster and think they could turn it around? And who would do it at a price they can afford? They are truly f'd.

yup. ive been saying all year, if he has another loser of a season, hes gone, no matter the buyout. fsu is as crooked and corrupt as they come, theyll find a way to pay that buyout, and likely do it with your tax dollars.

I’m already paying for 1/2 of their families’ cell phones, new kicks, and crab legs, so wtf...

I agree with this line of thought. At the same time I think they can get someone good at a reasonable salary. It would have to be a Freeze or Kiffin type. Someone that has some slime about them. Would FSUx go there though?

They just hired Briles who had been part of a Sandusky level cover-up at Baylor

I doubt it’s their moral compass that will point them to their new coach.
Beat me to it...

They've been a win-at-all-costs program for at least 30 years. That won't change anytime soon.

Sounds like a bunch of desperately designed BS to keep the recruits they have from jumping ship.

I don't get it, it would take upward of 10 million a year even if Urban was interested, which is comical to believe. With the 17 million buyout, either FSU (and its donor base) is a lot wealthier than we think or this is bull.

Meyer is like a fan in a lot of ways. In his years here, he learned to hate FSU as much as we did - wouldn't even mention them by name. In other words, he would NEVER take a job with FSU or UGA.
