Trask and the passing attack have been great, but the average wouldn’t be nearly as high if we had any semblance of a reliable rushing attack. Then again, maybe it’s even more impressive that we’ve managed 300 ypg when the defense knows we can’t run.
You ever take that thing out of your mouth? The latter. Mullen’s done yeoman’s work with Trask and the playcalling, which earns him a pass for not going with Trask to start the season.
Yeah, finally, in mid November, the coaches convinced him the option game wasnt going to work. Sharp dude. Not bad for a sideways offense
A lot of the “passing” yards were quick horizontal passes meant to supplement the running game. Hats off to Mullen for finding a way to make it work though.Trask and the passing attack have been great, but the average wouldn’t be nearly as high if we had any semblance of a reliable rushing attack. Im glad your typing bc there is no doubt we couldnt actually hear you speak.
Well, this certainly is a gem, isn’t it? Please don’t stop there. Explain yourself fully.
I don't even think he looked over the middle. You noticed Butters rarely ran any routes there at all.a quarterback who couldn’t find the receiver over the middle even if he had a large red target painted over his number
Not bad for a running team.florida averaged 300.4 yards passing per game, which is the first time we’ve averaged over 300 since 2001.
Just thought that was worth sharing

What that we tried a couple of option plays against FSU?It was commented on during the FSU game by the Fox guy, QB from Vandy.
Dude, if you aren't aware we ran thousands of options this year, there is no point in trying to explain it to you. This is middle school level offense stuff. It is basically every run play and a good number of the passes. What that we tried a couple of option plays against FSU?
What games were all these option plays in that you keep going on about?
