That's sexual assault brotha! Why weren't the cops called?

LolYou realize Coach’s wife kisses all the players on the cheek before each game, right? If he wants any shot at ending up here, I’d shy away from announcing to the world that you just spent the past two years with strange mens’ genitalia on your face.
Well that puts an end to that. Nothing will come of this money grab. From the State College daily.

Couldn’t have happened to a nicer program if they’d gotten him.Highly coveted by F$U during their recent search. Could you imagine if they'd landed him and then this story broke? Of course it was mentioned earlier that many wanted him here at one point. Dodged a bullet maybe?
So... you're NOT fabricating? If I'm gonna fabricate a story it's not gonna be me getting t-bagged, I can promise you that
This has got me to thinking about the locker rooms when I played and coached. I never once knew any of the type activity that was described in the article happening. There was a lot of playing and cuttin' up and a few fights, towel popping was prevalent. As a coach, I had a bunch of my players yelling and running around after a particularly bad practice early on in my career and I lined 23 of them up and paddled them. I'd be writing songs in San Quentin if I were to do this today, but it was different then and we had a much better attitude afterward.
Closest thing I remember as a player to what was described was when I was a freshman in HS and one of the upper classmen would mess with us youngsters, rite of passage and what not. The day it was my turn, Foghat's I Just Want to Make Love to You was blasting on the stereo and the guy was singing along and thumping me on the ears and so forth. Seemed like the whole team was crowded around. As he sang "...I don't want you be no slave, I don't want you work all day, I don't want 'cause I'm sad and blue...," I jumped in and 'took the mic' (so to speak) and finished the song with "...you can just suck my ---- 'til you turn blue!" He never messed with me anymore after the rest of the guys fell out and roasted him for the next couple of weeks and from then on we became good teammates. I think there's a subtle art to handling such situations without a lot of outside intervention.
Do people still thump ears? Sitting in High School in convocation listening to a very dull speaker when my ear got thumped. Before I knew what I had done, I had turned around and punched the offender in the nose. I never learned subtle. Turned out the jerk was a motorcycle guy thought to be the toughest guy in school. Explained he would kill me. Didn't because his tough guy pals made fun of him for picking on a nerd. This has got me to thinking about the locker rooms when I played and coached. Isn’t that just standard fraternity hazing?
Kids still pick. Biggest difference is they use their phones a lot in the picking, but they still thump ears (among other things :)). Your experience is a reminder that there will be times when we've turned the other cheek enough and have to stand up for ourselves. Sometimes there's nothing wrong with "subtley" whipping someone's ass when they've asked for it ;)Do people still thump ears? But a teacher stopped me as I exited and said sternly "I saw what you did!" While I contemplated my dire punishment she continued: "and I was so glad you did it."
