You can make the argument that SEC championship is fair because still playing ten conference games, regardless of who is opting out. But definitely pointless to have a national playoff when 50 teams aren't playing.

I could not disagree with you more

I was listening to the dawgs 247 podcast (before he announced he was quitting) and they said that Daniels had out performed him in practice. Couple that with Kibry Richt's comments that the QB play was sloppy in the scrimmage and that led this kid to quit. They were saying that they think agents got to the kid and told him to get out while his stock was high.

So, they were more impressed from Fromm 2.0 than Newman? No wonder legit nfl quarterbacks flee Athens.

How can this be? I’ve been hearing from all the sports talking heads here in Ga. how amazing Newman was going to be.

You gotta think Newman was probably a little butt hurt the way uga handled the transfer situation as well. He transferred in around New Years and then early in the summer uga out of the blue brings in the kid from USC and the kid from USC is cleared to play by the NCAA pretty soon after. You know that pedo looking fucher Smart told Newman he was the guy.

I still don't get the timing of him opting out now unless indeed he was getting beat out? Except for a few retards Newman was at best a 3rd rd pick and most were saying 5th rd. He was coming to a team that's absolutely loaded on defense and has as much o-line and rb talent as anyone in the country. He had a great chance of increasing his draft stock as long as he was indeed going to be starting. I think the way Smart handled the USC transfer and then the competition wasn't going like Newman hoped so opting out was much better for his NFL chances than being named the back up to a one legged kid.

I’ve got a friend in Georgia and he said two more Georgia players could be next. Both on defense.

I heard LeCounte I don’t know about the other one...btw what’s going on in Baton Rouge? They’re hemorrhaging talent and they’ll be lucky to win 6 this year

UGA and ND - 2 of the most overrated and underachieving programs in the history of college football. Especially within the last 40 years or so in the new era.
