FWIW, even that azzhat Zook was able to chalk up not only 1, but 2 wins against UGly

You can make the argument that SEC championship is fair because still playing ten conference games, regardless of who is opting out. But definitely pointless to have a national playoff when 50 teams aren't playing.

50 teams that haven’t won a playoff game collectively since 2015? Ok...even OU is 0-3 vs SEC teams in the playoff and Notre Dame is 0-1...the ACC and SEC are enough in the past 5 years to crown a champion...that’s good enough for me

The Pac 12 has no playoff contenders and hasn't since Mariotta. Period. Of 4 B1G teams from that conference to make it, only the 2015 team won even one game. The other 45 teams have done nothing and were not a part of this conversation regardless.
