Always best to check in here after all the panic has subsided.

Lots of football knowledge around here but not much coaching acumen.

Mullen on the other hand appears to be doing pretty good. 28-6.

Hard to tell we were ahead and finally won judging by the comments here.

It's like you think there is some magic button to push and our defense will be "fixed"!

We will get to Atlanta and Bama will wipe the floor with us...... that's just the way it is....

I have a couple of complaints, but the only one worth mentioning would be calling a designed QB run with your Heisman candidate QB while maintaining a semi-comfortable lead early in the 4th. Beating bamuh will be extremely tough, but absolutely impossible if said QB gets hurt. Yay, it got a first down, but not worth the risk.

And what good is ATL if we have no chance of winning.

It will be damn near impossible with Grantham.

We could be down 21 against a good Offense.

We would have beat TAMU if we just played basic Defense...you can't stop anyone if can't even line up properly

This is a fact........ there is always hope but who would really pick us to beat Bama, right now?

Agree that nobody will be picking us. And while Georgia is no Bama....all we heard all off season...including right here....was Georgia and their vaunted 5 stars would destroy us.
Things happen....karma, momentum, fate and luck..the 69 Mets...who knows? It could happen. But you have to be in the arena and we will be right there. Eye to eye...toe to toe. I won’t predict a win but I won’t count out the possibility. That’s why we play.

Glad we got the win, but still disappointed that we had our worst offensive performance against a team missing tons of players who will likely finish the year with a losing record. Also doesn't help that Bama scored 63 on them just last week.

I do like that we finally got a punt return for a TD, and I'm glad our defense had a good second half of football. It was also good to see Pitts have a good game back. Still, the players looked like they had zero energy and enthusiasm. The O-line played their worst game, we lost two fumbles, and we played ultra conservatively after a good 3rd quarter start. At times the players didn't seem to care about the game and coaches wanted to get it over with.

I'd like for us to beat the crap out of UT and completely embarrass them. Hopefully this team will show a little more fire and focus next week.

Very few. That's why "the experts" only have us at a 13% chance to make the playoffs. Basically, all we need to do is beat UT, LSU, and then Bama in the SECCG to make it. Those odds are obviously based on their opinion that we won't beat Bama in the SECCG. I don't expect UT or LSU are the teams they're worried about stopping us from making it.

The Oline looked even worse than last year at times in this game and that's saying a lot.

If we had beaten aTm we would still be the same team we are now, so its irrelevant when it comes to us beating Bama. We'll simply have to have some good breaks along with playing our best game of the year to have a chance. Its not likely we'll win but that's why they play the games. This season is completely unpredictable with covid and all, anything can happen.

Afterthought: I wonder why we didn’t try to block a punt today. Their punter took FOREVER to kick the ball, taking 8-10 steps it seemed. On one play one of our rushers literally stopped and let the guy kick it. Odd.

For those talking about the SECCG (I do think we've secured our spot, no?)....I don't like to put the cart before the horse or play 'what-ifs'. There is too much time for a positive COVID test to wreck either team, even if we both secure a spot there one or both teams could be unable to play. What does the SEC do then?

The SEC will give it to bamuh. We could be undefeated and it wouldn't change a thing.

That’s kind of what I was referring to. It could all come down to who is playing and who is out.
