Just watched a video of Campbell bawling his eyes out on Senior Day. That looked to me like tears from a man saying goodbye. Several media types on Twitter are saying he’s gone. Now the question is, where to?
Gawd, not here, please.

some think VT might go after Mullen
Seems like a good fit for him! He can go hang with the hillbillies and maybe he can drink some shine that'll help his attitude tored his team and coaches! But atleast he'll be outta the SEC for a few years Hopefully

Gawd, not here, please.

1. I didn't want Zook and did not expect him to succeed, but I hoped for the best.

2. I didn't want Muschamp and did not expect him to succeed with this fan base, but I hoped for the best.

3. I didn't want McElwain and had my doubts about a Saban protegee working at UF and I did not expecte him to succeed, but I hoped for the best.

4. I didn't want Mullen or really much associate with the Meyer error, but he was at least somewhat offensive minded even if you are right he is a bit run, run, run, punt oriented, so again I hoped for the best.

So here were are.

The administration has it’s mind set against Kiffin like Mullet had his against AR.
Don’t get your hopes up. We will be wallowing in mediocracy for ten more years.
Kiffin is there for the taking but he would turn this sinking ship around and they would never permit that to happen. We have born losers in charge. It’s very sad.

I just can't believe the love for Kiffin.

Based on what exactly? One good season? Why didn't he do it at Usc? If we've learned anything over the last year it's how much one QB can change a team and season. If Kiffin wins 10+ next year without MC, I will happily stand down and admit I was wrong. But there's absolutely nothing that says he's certain to turn anything around.

They lose an unusual large number of starters this year. They will do poorly next year for sure. But Kiffin will be gone, probably at Miami and starting his domination of the state of Florida.
Stay tuned….

So, I was talking to a close friend of mine who is a huge OU fan. He had texted asking who Florida was going to end up getting and I mentioned that there didn't seem to be a slam dunk hire, but that I had a feeling it would be Napier. I asked him who he would want if Riley ended up at LSU and he said Heupel.

That got me thinking, do you think there is any chance OU would actually steal Heupel from the Vols if Riley does take the gig at LSU? I can't imagine any chance he wouldn't jump at the opportunity as a former Sooner player.

Presumably that would make Tennessee very late to the coach search and would make things even more interesting. Thoughts?

Another one year coach might well break UTn again just as they are getting off the mat. Interesting post.

100% would love this. SEC East is going to get scarier if Heupel stays at UT, Mizzou recruiting better, us having the recruiting deficiencies catching up with us, people convinced a guy whose OC experience was getting fired at Clemson & one year at Arizona State in the 60's will not be Champ/Mac on offense, current one is in the 60's. We can at least have some solace in the misery of UT.
