I had to look this up because I remember him being from Georgia - wiki says he was born in Tenn, went to HS in Chatsworth, GA - no wonder he's got a strong accent! (Chatsworth is in north Georgia, Murray County, right on the GA/TN border).

I understand your point and while valid, I actually think this is very good PR. AR is only here for 1 more year, so QB is vital. You go visit a kid and introduce yourself and let him know that b/c he is 100% with the school you want to meet him first. Some of your better recruiters can be your current recruits. More than enough time to phone and visit the wafflers. I am going to score this move as a good one.
