How can "good" Muslims eliminate violent Islamists when the most powerful military in the world, the United States, in 12 years couldn't eliminate the Taliban?

By the way what do you think the Kurds are doing, twiddling their thumbs? The Peshmerga including Volunteer women soldiers are fighting ISIS, Chechens and extremists from all over world including the United States.
