Kirby Smart had no head coaching resume, yet his unit out-recruited everybody??
Now Mullen struggles to make UF attractive?
Hey, we got USF's Kerwin Bell, liable to make USF more attractive to recruits, especially with in-state athletes. Is Charlie Strong a good recruiter?
I want UF to have recruiting magic now. 2019 had better display great reasons for the best to want to come to UF.

What were spurriers classes ranked at duke?? Everyone believes he’s the greatest coach in UF history. But what did he do at duke recruiting wise? He must have gotten better classes than michigan Ohio state and the other blue bloods....if you believe that you’re a fool....

How does it not? You criticize Mullen for being a terrible recruiter at miss state. But you praise spurrier for anything and everything (not disagreeing with you) Aren’t the 2 coaching situations similar? Outside of the fact spurrier played at Florida what is the difference between the 2 coaching situations

We have been an absolute ****ing mess for the last 10 years. What makes you think any recruit wanted to come here? Mullen is at a disadvantage with facilities and the fact we’ve sucked dong since Meyer left. It takes more than a few months to fix that. Don’t compare Mullen to shart. The leg humpers never fell to the level we were 2 years ago. If mullen ends up not being successful here then fine. But I’m not counting him out after a 10-3 season after going 4-8 the season before. Shyt we could go 11-1 and you’d complain we didn’t win the natty 2 years after missing a bowl game

I agree with that. I was PISSED we lost to Kentucky and Missouri last year. I thought that was a terrible look for the current staff. But remember mus**** lost to Georgia southern. That’s how down we were. Believe me I’ll be the first to criticize Mullen if we don’t improve this year. I just want to wait and see before I decide he’s not the guy. It’s a waiting game for me

So then who did you blame it on for Muschamp losing to ga southern? Meyer? The kids that grew up gator fans did not see the spurrier days or the Meyer days (at least they don’t remember them) they saw us beating vandy 9-6 on a last second field goal by a dude who missed more than he made. So I don’t agree with this “kids grow up gator fans” idea. Sure they might have grown up watching the gators. But they also grew up watching bama uga free shoes U Oregon Ohio state Michigan Clemson . And all of those programs have had way more success than us since 2008...

I often wonder why there isn’t a pumper thread and a dumper thread. The truth is there is some weird symbiotic relationship where both sides feed off one another. It’s only entertaining on rare occasions. Mostly it feels like Groundhogs Day on repeat.

Dude, there are a couple of posters here that still believe that hiring Mullen was a mistake. The MO is to be loud during lulls and / or we are dealing with adversity and quiet as a church mouse when we are winning.
