I wouldn’t pick a PG school for the campus. I chose for the all around experience. Boulder and the surrounding area >>>>>>> BR and the surrounding swamps.

No, CU. And my undergrad was ag and bio engineering so at least we have something in common, I guess.

And again, I’m not judging just passing on my experiences of the state. I’ve been to BR multiple times and other places throughout the state. Not as bad as the NE but not my favorite. As stated earlier, I like the other Southern states and a few other places better.

Can’t participate in the “recreational” fun. Still active duty. Low humidity is underrated though - don’t miss the 110+ degree heat index at all.

Some great food in LA, no doubt about it. We’ve found some good eats here but nothing as good as NO’s finest. Beer is way better here, for me at least. I like the craft stuff and there’s an abundance to choose from. The people are exceedingly nice in my neighborhood. Been here 2 weeks and we’ve gotten baked goods and been invited to street parties already. Maybe we got lucky with the neighborhood but everyone we’ve met has been nice. I’m sure it’ll get a little crazy next week when the undergrads come back.

Another side benefit... I have another team that I can keep up with and plays their games after Florida’s most of the time. It will fill my Saturdays nicely. Never would’ve thought those cheering interests would collide so soon but I’m looking forward to that game.

Anyhow, back to crootin’. We need a 4 star tweener buck or any 3 star to commit so @Swamp Donkey can take this thread back over with his laminations.

I know I've done this before, now I've done it again. I was over at Swonkey's. I peeked at his family photo album.
There on the first page was a Scottish family crest with Swonkey's credo = "I think, therefore I damn." .. Like his postings the rest of his photo album contained only negatives.
