How about Trask & Jones on the field together?

How about a group of plays where both are out there together to confuse the hell out of the defense? The possibilities are endless.

What you hate to see is the defense knowing that every time Jones comes in, all we're going to do is run the ball. I'm really praying Mullen gets more creative.

Same-time Trask and EJ attack would be a thorn in their DC's side. IMO, we had better than that with Toney in with Trask. But maybe the TEJ express would allow all kinds of skilled hands handling? Confusing as threatening.

Only if Jones has decent hands. And if they start with Trask behind center, then shift to Jones, doesn't that just make it a 10 vs. 11 play?

Jones is in there because (a) Mullens can't give up on the zone read concept, and (b) Trask is made of fine china and spun glass, so Jones needs some game experience. Having both of them out there doesn't serve either of those needs.

We’re gonna be so predictable moving forward based on which QB us in the game. Only problem with having both QBs in the game at the same time is it means one less blocker.

We won't be as predictable if Mullen will just let EJ throw down the field a little.

EJ is the skill player in that scenario. A skill player who could throw.

Also, I doubt putting the ONLY TWO QB's you have left on the field at the same time would be a good strategy. Emory definitely needs more experience though, it's a scary thought if we have to rely solely on him.

How do I even approach this cockamamie, nonsensical gibberish.....
EJ is put in the game to give the run game a different look for the most part since we can't seem to hand the ball off between the guards and get more than 2 yards. Notice our best running plays are coming off the outside handoff/lateral....He will be given RPO's in the future....

The other obvious thing is it gives opposing DC something else to have to practice for/plan which takes time away from pass coverage planning/blitz packages....Not every defense is going to sit in the same coverage and get picked apart like UT and UK.....We must begin to run the ball to have success the rest of the year.

Nope....I said Trask is doing fine taking what the defense was giving us.....Do you think the Barn is going to leave the middle of their secondary vacated for 60 minutes???

Yes. Almost every team in the SEC, including Trailerbammer, is garbage vs the pass.
