Took a while for Trask and receivers to adjust to wet conditions for whatever reason. Definitely saw that in the play calling early. Hope we don't see any rain in Missouri. We really need Greenard/Zuniga back. Different defense without them. Looks like MSU defense is getting after Burroughs - what coulda been. And Toney will be a nice addition if he's ready for UGAy.
Watching them against Vandy at the moment, I gotta say I’m not real worried about Missouri

I loved seeing it, but those refs screwed the Cawks numerous times today. I know we had one or two not go our way, but the sh*tty officiating was definitely in our favor today.

Horrible spot extended their’s, no PI call killed ours. Who knows what happens in those respective drives it’s called correctly.

That’s kind of my point. He’s the best COACH, not program administrator. Until he gets that recruiting part fixed, he’ll never do more than attend and get thrashed at championship games (unless we get LSU again, especially this year. That game was a perfect storm for them and we were in it until the end. Home field, every call went their way, our best DL out, etc. I like us in a rematch). And besides Saban’s monster at Bama, I don’t think any west team can’t be overcome with coaching. UGA is proving that all their talent is pretty on paper but lacks basic coaching. They’ll never win anything with Smart.

Just got back. Nothing builds excitement like a 12 pm start in a steady rain! Seriously though, it is a great place to tailgate, but there was not alot of people about. Weird feel.

Gator fans were in force today. They roared pretty load on the touchdown that put us ahead.

Yeah, there were some bad calls all day and fans knew it. But is was on both sides of the ball.

Game really changed on two plays when it came to taking the wind out of sails of the fans.

1st and Goal for the Gamecocks on the six after they ran it down our throats. Muschamp calls a pass and we brought he corner blitz meaning we must have seen something. Every fan was pissed at Muschamp and rightfully so.

Second was the punt pinning the Cocks at the two. In fact, Townsend was the player of the game IMO. Sure Trask looked great at times, but our punter changed the field three times.

Anyway, nice to watch a Gator win, even if in the rain.

Welcome to the world of horrendous coaching and shytty game managment. I laughed my azz off at that call. Regardless of the result (sack on this play), USCe had run the ball the entire length of the field with zero resistance and then on 1st and goal you call a pass. This is why Scrat will always be Scrat. Game managemnt is so easy yet almost no one can do it. Glad you had a great time and brought us a W.

Just got back myself. Thank God for seats under the overhang, I'll post some meh pics in a bit. The Pierce TD run came right at us, I was waiting for the flag the whole time, never came. Bad call but we'll take it.

Our OL and the middle of our DL is disturbingly porous. Dan has got to get some recruiting done in both spots pronto. Zero excuse to not have a top ten class with the shape the Evil Nole and scUM are in.

Yes, knowledgeable Gamecock fans know that win against UGA gave Duncechump another two years minimum.

Very enjoyable win despite a soggy tailgate, although the mimosas were tasty.

they are always garbage one week and beat a team they shouldn't the next.

One of the times they humiliated us and one the east, they lost to losing Mac team, Ball State
or something

You'd think after they've beat our ass like 4 or 5 times now people wouldn't be so confident when it comes to them

And no I don’t think the CDM of 2019 could or would lose to them both in the same season. He’s a better HC than he was back when his MSU team lost to USA. You think Nick Saban will ever lose to Louisiana Monroe again? CDM has lost 4 games as the UF head coach; you could certainly argue that UF could have/should have won those games, but at least all four were SEC teams who finished (or will finish) with winning records.
