I hope the day comes when they look fondly back on the Taggart era.
There’s just not a lot of head coaches out there that are slam dunks that would take the (at best) lateral move. There’s some promising coordinators out there, but as we learned, a great coordinator doesn’t translate into a great head coach.
I think it’s Kiffin. He’s to only HC I can think of where FSU is a step up and is willing to walk into that mess.

I just talked to a source. He said that chump is on the hot seat at SC and will be fired at the end of season and his agent has reached out to the clowns that he is interested in the job. I hear both sides are very interested and a deal could be done soon. They have offered him 6 mil a year with a 5 year contract.

Stoops now out and Fleck just locked in big time with the gophers. 
Those were the only 2 i was concerned about. Franklin? Not a chance he takes that job. He's got a good thing going at PSU and that's a better job IMO to begin with. Sofla also nailed it by bringing up the fact that he no longer has to deal with meyer as well and while OSU is rolling this year, I have a feeling theyll be akin to Oregon after kelly left. Still got to the playoffs and waxed fsu (lol) under helfrich, but 2 years later he was fired and they sucked. OSU is performing based on what meyer left - give day 2 more season to see what happens. Recruiting already fell off significantly this cycle because of meyer's absence. Big 10 is setup swimmingly for franklin at this point. He'd be crazy to leave a winner with no other big time school to compete with in the area to go to a 5 alarm fire of a mess with a fan base thats ready to can you in the first season and an admin that is willing to do it halfway through the 2nd.

People seem to forget that Kiffin has done absolutely nothing at FAU since his first year there. They are a bad team, just like they were before he got there.
No one is contacting Kiffin about head coaching jobs anymore. I seriously doubt he was even on their list.

Oh I wasn't implying the Semenholes would contact Kiffy. I was just making the point that Chimp and Kiffy seem to fail forward for some reason. Hell, Kiffy's a better coach but the Chimp has likely earned millions more than him.
